How to Build a Mobile Toilet Room

You can build a mobile toilet room using a water storage barrel or a water storage tank. Here are two construction methods respectively:

Building with a Water Storage Barrel

1. Prepare materials: You need to prepare a water storage barrel, an angle grinder, wooden boards, universal wheels, wooden strips, self-tapping screws, sponge strips, plastic soft boards, foam strips, honeycomb wooden boards, drainage pipes, direct connectors, water pipes, a bath heater, a toilet, a water tank, glass glue, etc.
2. Build the basic structure: First, use an angle grinder to split the water storage barrel in half lengthwise. Fix universal wheels at the four corners of the wooden board for mobility. Attach wooden strips to the upper side of the barrel with self-tapping screws to increase the height. Use an angle grinder to cut an opening on the side of the water storage barrel and install sponge strips on both sides to form a door frame. Insert plastic soft boards between the wooden strips to create an elevated wall. Place the upper half of the water storage barrel on top of the wooden strips to serve as the roof. Use foam strips to拼接 (assemble) discarded honeycomb wooden boards to make a simple door and fix it in place.
3. Install indoor fixtures: Cut a hole at the bottom of the barrel and install a drainage pipe to form a floor drain. Cut holes on the side and bottom to connect direct connectors. Place a plastic bucket on the roof as a small water storage device. Connect a bath heater made of water pipes. Install a three-way connector below the water inlet pipe and connect a showerhead. Place the toilet over the drainage pipe opening, install the water tank, and fix it with glass glue. Connect the drainage pipe to a sewage tank. Connect a three-way connector to the outlet pipe horizontally and extend the water pipe to the door as the water inlet pipe for the sink. Connect a hose and install a connector by cutting a hole in the door.

Building with a Water Storage Tank and a Pallet

1. Prepare materials: Prepare a water storage tank, a plastic pallet, universal wheels, an angle grinder, self-tapping screws, elbows, water pipes, glue, a toilet, wall clamps, faucets, pipe caps, stainless steel basins, wooden boards, hinges, and door handles, etc.
2. Build the basic structure: Fix universal wheels at the four corners of the bottom of the pallet. Place the water storage tank on the pallet and use an angle grinder to cut along the top marking line to remove the top surface, creating an open tank. Place another open-top water storage tank upside down on top of the first tank and fix the outer frame with self-tapping screws. Cut a rectangular opening with a height of 180 cm and a width of 50 cm on the outer frame of the water storage tank as the door opening.
3. Install indoor fixtures: Cut a hole in the floor inside the water storage tank, insert an elbow from the bottom up, and cut a section of water pipe into it. Seal the gap with glue and then cut off the excess water pipe. Place the toilet over the drainage opening and fix it with glue. Fix water pipes on the wall clamps and install faucets. Fix pipe caps below and cut a hole in the water pipe to serve as the drainage pipe outlet. Cut a hole in the pipe cap and fix a stainless steel basin as a sink. Connect the water inlet pipe to the toilet water tank, connect the shower hose, and install a shower bracket and a toilet seat. Install a showerhead made of water pipes. Bring in a wooden board, fix hinges on the frame of the water storage tank, and attach the other side of the hinges to the wooden board to form a door. Then install a door handle.
