How to Build a Mobile Toilet

There are mainly two ways to build a mobile toilet: using a water storage tank and using a water storage bucket. Here are the specific construction steps:

Building a Mobile Toilet Using a Water Storage Tank:

1. Foundation Construction: Fix universal wheels at the four corners of the bottom of a拖板 (trailer board). Place a recycled water storage tank on the trailer board. Use an angle grinder to cut along the marked line on the top of the water storage tank, removing the top to form an open tank.
2. Tank Assembly: Invert another open-top water storage tank and stack it on top of the first tank. Secure the outer frames of the two tanks with self-tapping screws to form a double-layer structure.
3. Opening Treatment: Cut a rectangular opening measuring 180 cm in height and 50 cm in width on the outer frame of the water storage tank as the doorway. Simultaneously, cut the tank body to the same dimensions to form a door opening.
4. Drainage System: Drill a hole in the floor inside the water storage tank, insert an elbow, and connect a water pipe. Seal the gaps with glue and then cut off the excess. Align the toilet with the drainage opening and secure it with glue.
5. Water Supply Device: Fix a water pipe to the wall with clips, install a faucet, and connect it to a pipe cap. Drill a hole below the pipe cap as the outlet for the drainage pipe. Drill a hole in the pipe cap, apply glass glue, and then fix a stainless steel basin as the handwashing basin.
6. Function Enhancement: Connect the inlet pipe of the toilet tank, install a shower hose and bracket, and secure the toilet seat and a spray-type showerhead.
7. Door Installation: Fix hinges on the frame of the water storage tank, connect wooden boards to form a door, and install a door handle.

Building a Mobile Toilet Using a Water Storage Bucket:

1. Bucket Modification: Use an angle grinder to split the water storage bucket in half. Fix universal wheels at the four corners of a wooden board. Use wooden strips and self-tapping screws to increase the height on the upper side of the bucket, forming a basic frame.
2. Structure Construction: Cut an opening on the side of the water storage bucket as the doorway. Install sponge strips to form a door frame and embed plastic soft boards to create an elevated wall. Place the upper half of the bucket as the roof on top of the wooden strips and apply white waterproof paint to enhance aesthetics.
3. Door Fabrication: Use foam strips to拼接 (join) two discarded honeycomb wooden boards to make a simple door. Secure it and then install a door panel.
4. Drainage System: Drill a hole at the bottom of the bucket and install a drainage pipe to form a floor drain. Drill holes on the side and bottom, install direct connectors, and insert a plastic bucket as a small water storage device.
5. Function Installation: Connect water pipes to make a bathroom heater. Install a three-way connector below the inlet pipe and connect a showerhead. Place the toilet on the drainage pipe opening, secure the tank, and seal it with glass glue. Connect the drainage pipe to the sewage bucket.
6. Water Supply Extension: Connect a water pipe horizontally from the three-way connector of the outlet pipe to the doorway as the inlet pipe for the handwashing basin. Connect a hose and drill a hole in the door to install a connector.
