How to Bag a Portable Toilet
The method of bagging a portable toilet varies depending on its type. Here are the specific steps for common types:

1. Portable toilets consisting of a collapsible frame and disposable bags These portable toilets are typically designed to be portable, with a simple structure and easy operation. When using, first fully unfold and secure the collapsible frame to ensure it is stable. Then, select a dedicated garbage bag that matches the size of the frame (usually made of high-strength, leak-proof material), fully unfold the opening of the garbage bag, and place it over the edge of the frame, ensuring that the bag opening completely covers the top of the frame without any gaps. After excretion, immediately tighten the opening of the garbage bag and seal it with the built-in drawstring or sealing strip to prevent odor leakage or contaminant spillage. After sealing, the garbage bag can be directly discarded into a designated trash can without the need for additional cleaning of the frame.
2. Bucket-type portable toilets Bucket-type portable toilets are mostly used for temporary events or construction sites, and their bagging steps require more attention to sealing. First, select a garbage bag of moderate thickness and tear resistance (it is recommended to use black or dark colors to protect privacy), fully unfold the garbage bag and place it inside the bucket, ensuring that the bag body completely covers the inner wall of the bucket to prevent direct contact between excreta and the bucket wall. When placing the bag, fold the edge of the garbage bag outward to cover the edge of the bucket opening and secure it (using tape or the bucket's own buckles) to prevent the bag body from slipping during use. After excretion, tighten the opening of the garbage bag and tie it in a knot, or use the配套 (matching) sealing cover to close it, and finally lift the entire garbage bag out of the bucket and discard it. If there is residual odor in the bucket, spray a small amount of deodorant before placing a new bag.
3. Airport disposable toilet plastic bags These plastic bags are specifically designed for airport public toilets and must be used strictly according to the instructions. First, tear open the closure strip on the packaging (usually designed for easy tearing), slowly remove the plastic bag from the side opening, avoiding sharp edges from tearing the bag body. Fully unfold the plastic bag and place it over the toilet seat ring in the airport toilet, focusing on adjusting the position of the oval part to ensure it is precisely aligned with the center hole of the toilet seat (this part is the excretion opening), and place the pointed end forward (usually pointing towards the user). Remove the oval dotted line part in the middle of the plastic bag (by pressing with your fingers or tearing) to make the plastic bag fit completely with the toilet seat ring, forming a sealed layer. After use, simply lift the edge of the plastic bag to wrap the excreta and discard it into a designated trash can.
Precautions:
- Before bagging, check that the garbage bag is intact and avoid using damaged bags;
- When operating, try to minimize direct contact between the bag body and contaminants, and it is recommended to wear disposable gloves;
- Before discarding, ensure that the bag opening is completely sealed to prevent secondary pollution.
