How Germany Does Container Architecture

Platoon Art Gallery, located in Berlin, Germany, designed by Platoon Cultural Development

Built from 33 shipping containers, it is highly flexible—container modules can be added or removed as needed

Various events can be held inside—solo art exhibitions, movie nights, concerts, multimedia performances, street art,

and it can also serve as a workshop, or a venue for group discussions and special events

Floor-to-ceiling windows run through the space; the walls are predominantly green, while the top is mainly black and white

The texture of the containers gives the entire building a sense of depth and material quality
