How Does the Mobile Toilet Drain Water
The drainage methods of mobile toilets mainly include five types: conventional water-flushing, vacuum sewage systems, water-storage sewage systems, recycled-water perforated types, and dry-packaging types, as detailed below:

Conventional water-flushing is a relatively common sewage disposal method. It requires connection to water supply and drainage pipes, achieving sewage disposal through manual or automatic induction. After using the toilet, pressing the flush button or triggering the automatic induction device causes the sewage to flow through the pipes to a septic tank or municipal sewer network. This sewage disposal method is suitable for various water-rich environments, such as public places like parks and squares in cities. Its construction cost is relatively low, and the operation is relatively simple, meeting the daily usage needs of most people.
The vacuum sewage system operates on the principle of negative pressure. The vacuum pump is the core component of this system. When the sewage in the public toilet reaches a preset water level, the vacuum pump automatically starts, using strong negative pressure to quickly suck the sewage and waste into a collection container. This discharge method is highly efficient and uses very little water, effectively preventing sewage leakage and odor diffusion, maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of the public toilet. It is commonly used in places with high hygiene requirements and limited water usage, such as some high-end event venues and tourist attractions.
The water-storage sewage system discharges waste into a storage tank through water flushing. When the sewage in the public toilet reaches a preset water level, that is, when the storage tank is full, it needs to be cleaned and replaced. It is suitable for places with sufficient water supply and easy cleaning, such as some large construction sites, which have an adequate water supply and also have the space and conditions to regularly clean the storage tank.
The recycled-water perforated mobile toilet is equipped with intermittent aerobic and anaerobic fecal sewage treatment devices and adds biological bacteria. Using biofilm technology to accelerate the fermentation and decomposition of fecal sewage, the treated fecal sewage is recycled back to flush the toilet sanitary ware through a filtration device, greatly saving water resources and reducing sewage intake. It is suitable for use in areas with scarce water resources but a need for mobile toilets.
The dry-packaging type of mobile toilet has no flushing device. Feces are collected by recyclable plastic bags placed under the toilet bowl. After each use, the system automatically replaces the plastic bag with a new one. These plastic bags are collected and transported to a treatment plant for processing, eliminating the need for flushing and greatly saving water resources.
