How Does 'Da Bai' Use a Portable Toilet

Admin October 01, 2026

'Da Bai' can refer to the general operating procedures of mobile public toilets when using a portable toilet, as follows:

Pre-use Inspection

  • Check the Status: Observe the display on the portable toilet's door lock. If it shows a green 'available' status, it means the toilet is currently unoccupied and can be entered directly. For some models of portable toilets that require scanning a QR code to unlock, use your mobile phone to scan the QR code on the door and follow the prompts to complete the unlocking process before pushing the door open.
  • Lock the Door: After entering the toilet, promptly lock the door to prevent others from suddenly pushing the door open during your use, ensuring personal privacy and safety.

During Use

  • Choose the Toilet Type: Select a squat toilet or a sit-down toilet according to your personal habits and needs. Squat toilets may be more in line with the toilet habits of some people and, from a hygiene perspective, reduce direct contact with the fixtures compared to sit-down toilets. Sit-down toilets are more suitable for people with mobility issues and offer greater comfort during use.
  • Flush the Toilet: If you choose a squat toilet, after finishing, step on the pedal to flush. Stepping on the pedal triggers the flushing mechanism to remove the waste. If using a sit-down toilet, press the side button to flush, ensuring the waste is thoroughly flushed away.

When Leaving

  • Ensure Flushing is Complete: Before leaving the toilet, wait for the flushing system to finish its work. Generally, when you hear the water flow stop for about 3 seconds, it indicates that the flushing is complete. This ensures the cleanliness and hygiene of the toilet and prevents lingering odors.
  • Take Your Belongings: Carefully check the toilet for any personal items you may have left behind, such as your mobile phone, tissues, keys, etc., to prevent loss.
  • Close the Door Gently: When leaving, close the door gently. The doors of portable toilets usually have an automatic locking function. After closing the door gently, it will automatically lock, providing a safe and hygienic environment for the next user.
