Household Toilet Mobile Toilet Size
The common dimensions of household toilets are approximately 70 centimeters in length, 36 to 40 centimeters in width (with 37 centimeters being the most common), and 70 centimeters in height; the installation rough-in distance is about 200 to 400 millimeters, with 300 millimeters or 400 millimeters being the mainstream choices.

I. Basic Dimension Range
The external dimensions of household toilets generally follow standardized designs to fit the layouts of most home bathrooms. Their length is mostly around 70 centimeters, the width ranges from 36 to 40 centimeters, with 37 centimeters being the most common specification; the height is generally fixed at 70 centimeters, meeting ergonomic usage requirements. If the bathroom space is limited, a compact toilet can be chosen, with dimensions of 650x345x740 millimeters (length x width x height). The length remains 70 centimeters, but the width and height are slightly reduced, suitable for compact spaces.
II. Installation Rough-in Distance Selection
The rough-in distance refers to the vertical distance from the center of the toilet's drain outlet to the wall, directly affecting installation compatibility:
- 300-millimeter rough-in: Suitable for small bathrooms. After installation, there is usually a gap of about 2-3 finger widths (approximately 3-5 centimeters) between the toilet and the wall, facilitating cleaning and not appearing cramped.
- 400-millimeter rough-in: The mainstream specification for new homes. After installation, the toilet fits snugly against the wall, enhancing overall aesthetics.
- 350-millimeter rough-in: A non-standard size. When choosing a standard toilet, two issues may arise: if installed at 350 millimeters, a large gap may be left in front of the toilet; if forcibly fitted to a 300-millimeter or 400-millimeter rough-in, installation may not be possible. In this case, consider using a 300-millimeter rough-in toilet + an offset flange, but note that the offset distance should not exceed 5 centimeters, otherwise, it may affect flushing performance (such as poor drainage and increased noise).
III. Distance from the Wall and Drainage Method
The distance from the wall for compact toilets varies depending on the drainage method:
- Front drainage: The distance from the wall is generally 40 centimeters, suitable for layouts where the drainpipe is close to the wall.
- Center drainage: The distance from the wall is 30.5 centimeters, serving as an intermediate specification.
- Rear drainage: The distance from the wall is only 20 centimeters, suitable for designs where the drainpipe is tightly against the wall, maximizing space utilization.
When choosing, measure in advance according to the position of the bathroom's drainpipe to ensure that the toilet's drainage method matches the pipeline, avoiding the need for later modifications.
