House Thermal Insulation Prefabricated Panel

Admin September 18, 2026

House thermal insulation prefabricated panels are a form of construction that enables rapid building through factory production, standardized design, and modular assembly, while providing excellent thermal insulation performance. Their core lies in three technical supports: insulation layer design, sealing optimization, and structural stability.

Common Materials and Types

  1. Insulation Panels: EPS, XPS insulation panels, and rock wool panels are commonly used in the insulation layer of concrete roofs, offering moisture resistance and efficient thermal insulation to reduce heat transfer. Steel-framed insulated houses use square steel frames paired with polyurethane sandwich panels over 50mm thick to withstand temperatures as low as -30℃. Modular assembled panel houses combine standardized steel chassis with fire-resistant rock wool interlayers, maintaining thermal resistance in environments as cold as -25℃. Rural light steel villas feature multi-layer composite walls filled with rock wool panels, glass wool panels, or aerogel composite fire-resistant blankets to further block heat transfer.
  2. Structural Forms: Steel structural frames provide overall support, offering strong wind and earthquake resistance (e.g., Q345 steel frames can withstand winds of level 8 or higher). Component connections use specialized sealing strips or welding techniques, and window and door systems are equipped with double-glazed units and thermal break aluminum profiles to reduce cold air infiltration and enhance airtightness.

Performance Standards and Selection Criteria

According to the "Technical Standard for Modular Buildings" (GB/T 51129-2017), insulated prefabricated panel houses must meet the following requirements: the heat transfer coefficient of exterior walls should be ≤0.5W/(㎡·K), and that of roofs should be ≤0.4W/(㎡·K); under a pressure difference of 10Pa, the air exchange rate per hour should be ≤1.5 times; the combustion performance of panels should reach Class A (non-combustible) or Class B1 (difficult to burn). When selecting, consider climate adaptability (in severe cold regions, prioritize polyurethane sandwich panels with low thermal conductivity), service life (for temporary projects, EPS sandwich panels can be chosen, while for long-term projects, rock wool or glass wool panels are recommended), and supporting systems (new air systems, electric floor heating, or air-source heat pumps are required to maintain balanced indoor temperatures).

Market Price Range

Economy type (EPS sandwich panel + ordinary steel structure): 800-1200 yuan/㎡, suitable for short-term use; standard type (rock wool sandwich panel + galvanized steel structure): 1500-1800 yuan/㎡, meeting most commercial needs; high-end type (polyurethane sandwich panel + stainless steel frame): 2000-2500 yuan/㎡, suitable for extremely cold regions or long-term use scenarios.
