Currently, we cannot directly provide house container plan images, but we can offer descriptions of the plan layouts and design highlights of relevant cases for reference.

Case 1: Small B&B Hotel Transformed from Four Containers

  • Layout: Composed of four 6-meter-long containers, with a two-story structure (two on the bottom and two on top). The ground floor houses sanitary facilities, a technical room, a storage room, and a four-bed guest room; the upper floor has four guest rooms sharing a common terrace with views of the river and hills.
  • Design Features: All rooms feature small round windows to enhance connectivity with the surrounding landscape; walls, ceilings, and custom furniture are made of birch plywood, with spaces differentiated by natural linoleum colors and industrial lighting.

Case 2: 100-Square-Meter Single-Story Luxury House Transformed from Two Containers

  • Layout: Two containers are joined to form an integrated living, dining, and kitchen space, along with two bedrooms and a bathroom with a bathtub.
  • Design Features: Pile foundations are used for moisture and thermal insulation, with containers elevated on piles without direct ground contact; foundation work is completed in advance, followed by on-site insulation and decoration after container arrival.

Case 3: IndieDwell Model 6 (Two 40-Foot Containers)

  • Layout: Provides 640 square feet of living space, with a recessed main entrance, a corridor leading to the bathroom and two bedrooms; the kitchen opens to the living and dining areas.
  • Design Features: An offset layout optimizes space utilization, suitable for small families or single individuals.

Case 4: Honomobo H4 (Four Containers)

  • Layout: Covers over 700 square feet, including two bedrooms, a living room, a dining room, a full kitchen, and a bathroom.
  • Design Features: The open living/dining/kitchen area features a 29-foot-long glass wall that can be opened outward, enhancing natural light and views.

Summary of Design Highlights

  • Modular Combination: Containers are joined and stacked to create diverse layouts, adapting to different functional needs.
  • Space Optimization: Open designs, offset layouts, or recessed entrances are used to improve space utilization in small areas.
  • Natural Integration: Large windows, round windows, or terraces are designed to enhance interaction between indoor and outdoor landscapes.
  • Material Selection: Environmentally friendly materials such as birch plywood and natural linoleum are commonly used, combined with industrial elements to highlight unique features.
