Hongshan New-type Environmental Protection Mobile Toilet

Admin October 06, 2026

The new-type environmental protection mobile toilets in Hongshan mainly include three types: ecological toilets, foam-sealing environmental protection toilets, and 3D-printed cherry blossom-shaped public toilets.

Ecological Toilets: Their core technology is a separation-and-collection treatment system that physically separates liquid and solid excreta at the source. The liquid part undergoes multi-stage filtration and plant absorption for harmless treatment, while the solid part is subjected to aerobic fermentation by adding microbial agents, ultimately transforming into humus-like substances. This treatment method significantly reduces water consumption in subsequent processing and effectively cuts off disease transmission pathways by blocking the contact between pathogens and water bodies. This technology is particularly suitable for scenarios with scarce water resources or high hygiene requirements, such as scenic spots and temporary event venues.

Foam-sealing Environmental Protection Toilets: These toilets employ foam-sealing technology to achieve odor control, splash prevention, and water conservation. The foam layer covers the surface of excreta, reducing odor diffusion through physical barriers and preventing sewage splashing. There are various market models of such toilets with significant price differences. For example, the popular H6 model is priced at 6,200 yuan, while the assembled model of Jintongchuang municipal street scenic spot environmental protection public toilets costs only 1,199 yuan. Their water-saving characteristics make them the preferred option for areas with high pedestrian traffic, such as municipal streets and commercial districts.

3D-printed Cherry Blossom-shaped Public Toilets: As the first public toilet in Wuhan to apply 3D printing technology, its design integrates cherry blossom aesthetics with functional requirements. Internally, it is equipped with three gender-neutral toilet stalls, one accessible restroom, and one sanitation workroom, catering to the needs of all age groups. This public toilet uses recycled construction waste as the base material and achieves the resource utilization of urban solid waste through 3D printing technology, with each building consuming approximately 2 tons of construction waste and significantly reducing carbon emissions. Its green and low-carbon concept, combined with intelligent management (such as real-time monitoring of usage frequency), reflects the development direction of modern urban public facilities and is suitable for open spaces such as parks and squares.
