Homemade Mobile Anti-Corrosion Toilet

Admin September 24, 2026

You can refer to the following methods and key points for making a homemade mobile anti-corrosion toilet:

Material Selection and Processing

  • Main Materials: Anti-corrosion wood is a commonly used material. It is treated with vacuum pressure impregnation of preservatives or high-temperature heat treatment, providing corrosion resistance. If it is difficult to obtain, alternatives such as water storage tanks, plastic buckets, and discarded tiles can be used. For example, when using a plastic bucket, a pulley device needs to be cut and installed on the bucket body for easy movement. When making a toilet base with discarded tiles, the appropriate shape needs to be cut out and universal wheels installed.
  • Skeleton Materials: Galvanized square tubes or section steels are mostly used for welding to enhance overall stability.
  • Waterproof and Moisture-Proof Treatment: If wood is used, waterproof treatment should be carried out at the joints, such as applying waterproof coatings or laying waterproof membranes. After cutting and drilling, end-face sealing treatment should be performed to prevent moisture intrusion.

Structural Design

  • Overall Framework: It includes the chassis frame, walls, roof, door panels, and internal sanitary facilities. If using a plastic bucket, cracks need to be cut out on the bucket body as the restroom entrance, and the bucket body should be heightened and fixed with iron sheets for shielding. If using a water storage tank, a hole should be opened on the internal floor to install the toilet and align it with the drainage outlet for fixation.
  • Internal Facilities:
    • Toilet: It can be made from discarded tiles or water storage tanks. A sewage discharge hose and a water inlet pipe need to be installed to ensure smooth drainage.
    • Hand-washing Facilities: Fix a water pipe on the wall buckle, install a faucet, fix a pipe cap below and connect it to a drainage pipe, and open a hole on the pipe cap to fix a hand-washing basin.
    • Shower Facilities: A large trash can can be refitted into a water storage tank. A PVC pipe can be used to make a showerhead, and a three-way water divider can be connected to supply water for bathing, toilet flushing, and hand-washing basins.

Production Process

  • Demand Planning: Clarify the number of users and site conditions, and determine the size, number of squatting positions, internal space division, and ventilation and sewage discharge methods.
  • Material Preparation and Processing: Prepare materials according to the design and perform cutting, drilling, pulley installation, and other processing operations.
  • Assembly and Construction: Assemble each part according to the designed structure, such as building the skeleton, installing the walls and roof, and fixing the door panels and internal sanitary facilities.
  • Detail Handling: Seal all connections, such as using glue to seal around water pipes and applying glue around the toilet for fixation.

Precautions

  • Stability: Ensure the overall structure is stable to avoid shaking or collapse.
  • Waterproof and Moisture-Proof: Extend the service life, especially when using wood.
  • Sewage Discharge Treatment: Plan the sewage discharge method reasonably to avoid environmental pollution.
  • Maintenance and Upkeep: Regularly check for damaged parts and carry out timely maintenance and repairs.
