Home Portable Toilet Installation Method

Admin October 13, 2026

The installation of a home portable toilet should be carried out according to the specific type and requirements. For ordinary portable toilets, follow a six-step process for installation. When there is a need for relocation, use a relocation device reasonably and control the distance.

Installation of Ordinary Portable Toilets

  1. Check the Accessories: Upon receiving the goods, open the package immediately and carefully check the accessory list to ensure that all accessories are complete and not missing. This is the foundation of installation. If any accessories are found to be missing, contact the merchant promptly for replacement to avoid affecting the subsequent installation progress.
  2. Obtain Installation Instructions: You can contact customer service to request detailed installation instructions or install the product according to the user manual that comes with it. The user manual usually contains clear steps and illustrations to help users complete the installation more accurately.
  3. Connect the Main Body: Taking the Behao BH132(PP) portable toilet as an example, the upper main body (including the toilet lid and seat ring) and the lower main body are connected by snaps. Align the upper main body with the lower main body, snap it on directly, and then press it down firmly to ensure a secure connection and prevent loosening during use.
  4. Anti-slip Treatment: The bottom of the toilet is equipped with four arc-shaped anti-slip strips, which are used to prevent the toilet from slipping in wet environments such as bathrooms, ensuring safety during use. If the anti-slip strips are found to be missing during use, apply to the merchant for replacement promptly.

Installation of Toilet Relocation

  1. Use a Relocation Device: If there is a need to relocate the toilet, a toilet relocation device can be used to adjust the positions of the sewage outlet and the drain pipe opening. The relocation range of conventional relocation devices is between 2 cm and 15 cm. Short-distance relocation has a relatively small impact on the drainage slope and can effectively reduce the risk of blockage.
  2. Control the Relocation Distance: Although special models of relocation devices claim a maximum relocation distance of up to 3 meters, they may face problems such as insufficient drainage slope, complex piping, and high installation difficulty. Professionals recommend that the relocation distance should be controlled within 15 cm as much as possible. If the relocation distance exceeds 15 cm, it is recommended to rearrange the drain pipes or use a wall-mounted toilet to ensure smooth drainage and safe use.
