Home Installation of Mobile Toilets
When installing a mobile toilet at home, refer to the following key information to ensure proper installation and convenient use:

I. Basic Specifications and Configuration
The standard dimensions of a mobile toilet are typically 1.1 meters in length, 1.1 meters in width, and 2.3 meters in height, providing a compact space that meets basic usage needs. Its core components include light bulb sockets, exhaust fans, air outlets, and flush tanks. Some models may be equipped with a water storage tank or an interface for connecting to municipal water supply. If choosing a factory-prefabricated finished mobile restroom, the internal plumbing system is already pre-installed, and only the reserved external interfaces (such as water inlet and outlet pipes) need to be connected to the household water system for immediate use, significantly simplifying the installation process.
II. Pre-Installation Preparation and Inspection
- Component Verification: Upon receiving the goods, promptly unpack and inspect the component list to ensure that all necessary parts, including the toilet body, flushing device, sealing gaskets, and fixing screws, are included. If any parts are missing or damaged, contact the merchant immediately for replacement or reshipment.
- Site Planning: Based on the dimensions of the mobile toilet, select a well-ventilated area in your home close to the drainage pipes (such as a corner of the balcony or beside an independent restroom) to avoid interfering with daily activities. Additionally, reserve a power outlet location to ensure that the exhaust fan and light bulb can be properly powered.
III. Installation Steps and Precautions
- Base Fixing: Place the mobile toilet in the predetermined location and use a level to adjust the base to ensure it is stable and does not wobble. If the ground is uneven, add non-slip mats or adjust the height of the support feet to resolve the issue.
- Plumbing Connection:
- Water Inlet Connection: Connect the water inlet pipe of the flush tank to the household water supply pipe, using a dedicated sealing gasket to prevent leaks. If using a water storage design, fill the tank with clean water in advance and check its sealing performance.
- Water Outlet Connection: Connect the outlet pipe to the household floor drain or drainage pipe, ensuring a reasonable slope (recommended not less than 2%) to prevent sewage backflow or odor emission.
- Electrical Installation: Select an appropriate wire gauge (usually 1.5 square millimeter copper wire) based on the power ratings of the light bulb socket and exhaust fan, and install a residual current circuit breaker to ensure electrical safety. It is recommended to run the exhaust fan at a low speed 24 hours a day to maintain air circulation.
- Sealing Treatment: Apply waterproof sealant at the contact points between the toilet and the floor, as well as at pipe connections, to prevent leaks and odor diffusion. After installation, perform a flush test to check for tightness and absence of leaks at all interfaces.
IV. Usage and Maintenance Recommendations
Regularly clean the flush tank and drainage pipes to prevent scale buildup; inspect the exhaust fan filter monthly and replace or clean it as needed; if the toilet is not in use for an extended period, empty the water tank and turn off the water supply to prevent component aging.
