Hoisting Container House Color Steel

Admin September 15, 2026

The installation and use of hoisting container house color steel should be carried out in combination with its modular characteristics and safety regulations. The specific key points are as follows:

1. Structural Inspection and Reinforcement Before Hoisting

The hoisting of container house color steel should focus on structural stability. The traditional container has a relatively large spacing between the longitudinal beams of the bottom frame. Directly using it as a living space can easily lead to insufficient floor stiffness. C-shaped steel purlins need to be installed between the bottom beams to distribute the load, ensuring that the container body can remain structurally stable even when stacked three layers high. At the same time, the surface of the container body should undergo shot blasting and rust removal treatment, and be sprayed with zinc-rich primer and polyurethane topcoat to form a protective system, enabling the steel to maintain an effective service life of more than 15 years in windy and sandy environments with temperature differences.

2. Safe Operation During Hoisting

Professional equipment should be used for hoisting to ensure that the container house color steel is lifted in its folded state (standard container size). When unfolding, it can be opened and closed with one click through bilateral hydraulic or mechanical methods, instantly expanding the space by 2-3 times. Wet operations should be avoided throughout the process to prevent structural corrosion or a decrease in the performance of thermal insulation materials due to water intrusion. After hoisting is completed, the connections of pre-installed components such as doors, windows, and water and electricity systems should be checked to ensure the integrity of the whole-house integrated pre-installation mode.

3. Optimization of Thermal Insulation and Heat Insulation Performance

To address the cold and hot bridge effect of the metal container walls, a broken-bridge lining structure should be adopted: hard polyurethane foam should be filled between the steel frame and the interior wall panels, and rubber thermal insulation pads should be installed at the connections of the keels to reduce the heat exchange efficiency between the inside and outside of the container by about 40%. For camp dormitory projects, this treatment can make the indoor temperature in winter 8 to 10 degrees Celsius higher than the outside temperature, reducing the dependence on heating equipment energy consumption.

4. Flexible Combination Applications in Multiple Scenarios

Container house color steel supports horizontal splicing and multi-layer stacking, and can be freely combined into functional spaces such as office areas, dormitory areas, and reception areas according to needs. For example, in cultural and tourism scenic spots, by combining glass curtain walls with color steel structures, popular container shops or homestays can be created; in earthquake relief scenarios, its rapid deployment and retrieval properties can meet the needs of temporary accommodation, and the disassembly and assembly loss rate is controlled within 5%, achieving full life-cycle recycling of materials.
