Hohhot Outdoor Mobile Toilet

Admin October 01, 2026

The Hohhot outdoor mobile toilet is a sanitation service unit based on modular design with temporary deployment capabilities, providing flexible solutions for outdoor activities.

Working Principle

Its core lies in mobility and self-sufficiency. Mobility is reflected in the transportation and deployment phase. The unit adopts a standardized container-style design or lightweight frame structure, allowing it to be quickly transported to designated locations by conventional road transport vehicles and installed and commissioned within a few hours, meeting the needs of short-term, high-intensity turnover. Self-sufficiency is demonstrated during operation. Modern rental units often integrate independent water storage systems, waste collection containers, and simple ventilation devices. Some are equipped with connections to municipal networks or biological degradation treatment modules, enabling independent operation without external water supply or sewage disposal.

System Composition

It is divided into three functional subsystems:

  1. Sanitation Treatment Subsystem: Responsible for collecting and temporarily storing human waste. Mainstream technologies include chemical solidification (reducing odors by adding solidifying agents), biological enzyme decomposition (using enzyme preparations to accelerate the degradation of organic matter), and physical storage and transfer (regularly transporting waste to treatment stations).
  2. Environmental Control Subsystem: Includes ventilation devices (maintaining internal air circulation), temperature regulation units (some equipped with electric heaters or insulation layers to cope with low temperatures), and lighting facilities (ensuring safety during nighttime use), maintaining basic sanitation standards and user comfort.
  3. Auxiliary Service Subsystem: Such as handwashing water supply (some using foot-operated water-saving devices), mirrors, hooks, and other convenience accessories to enhance the user experience.

Application Scenarios

Large gatherings such as the Hohhot Summer Grassland Music Festival and Naadam Festival, as well as autumn outdoor hiking and camping activities, generate periodic demand for temporary sanitation facilities. Mobile units can flexibly adjust the number of deployments according to the scale of the event, quickly forming a service network. After the event, they can be withdrawn and the site restored to its original condition, avoiding the long-term occupation issues associated with traditional building-style toilets.

Supplier Situation

Inner Mongolia Xinhe Integrated Housing Technology Co., Ltd. relies on its local production base to form a closed loop in the production and on-site assembly of modular containers, meeting the needs of short-term, high-intensity turnover or those requiring both thermal insulation and moisture resistance. Cangzhou Hengtai Sanitation Equipment Co., Ltd.'s mobile toilet frame structure supports hoisting and is not restricted by the environment, making it suitable for densely populated areas. Dezhou Hongtu Metal Products Co., Ltd. has customized mobile toilets for Inner Mongolian customers equipped with solar panels, solving the issue of no electricity on-site and expanding the range of applications.
