Hechuan Monolithic Mobile Toilet

Admin October 08, 2026

The Hechuan monolithic mobile toilet is an independent mobile sanitation facility constructed using modular integration technology. Its core functions are realized through the coupling of standardized units, supporting rapid deployment and functional expansion. However, specific morphological parameters need to be determined in conjunction with the manufacturer's design.

Technical Composition and Functional Units

The production of mobile toilets in Hechuan District centers around modular design, with functions decoupled into four major units:

  1. Sewage Treatment Unit: This is the core technical module of the mobile toilet, encompassing three mainstream technological paths. Biodegradation technology decomposes excreta through microorganisms, achieving harmless treatment suitable for long-term use scenarios. Chemical treatment technology utilizes agents for disinfection and deodorization, suitable for short-term or emergency needs. Packaging and collection technology temporarily stores excreta in sealed containers, requiring regular removal, commonly used in areas without sewers.
  2. Structural Framework Unit: Primarily employs light steel keels or container modification technology. Light steel keel structures are lightweight and high-strength, facilitating transportation and assembly. Container modification directly utilizes standard shipping containers, adjusting internal space through cutting and welding processes, offering both durability and modular advantages.
  3. Internal Facility Unit: Includes basic sanitation equipment such as toilets (squat or sit types), handwashing stations, and hand dryers. Some high-end models are also equipped with air conditioning and heating systems to enhance user comfort.
  4. Auxiliary System Unit: Covers subsystems such as lighting (LED energy-saving lights), ventilation (forced exhaust or natural ventilation), and deodorization (activated carbon filtration or photocatalyst technology), ensuring internal environmental hygiene of the toilet.

Monolithic Characteristics and Design Advantages

"Monolithic" emphasizes its independent unit form, meaning each toilet is a complete functional entity without reliance on external pipelines or electricity (some models require external power connections). This design enables rapid coupling between units through standardized interfaces, such as direct对接 (docking) of the sewage treatment unit with the structural framework unit by manufacturers like Sichuan Xinjiangzhu, shortening on-site installation time. Its advantages include:

  • Rapid Deployment: Modular components can be pre-produced, requiring only assembly on-site, suitable for emergency rescue, large-scale events, and other scenarios.
  • Functional Expansion: Flexibility to adapt to different needs by adding or removing units (such as adding barrier-free facilities or母婴室 (mother-and-baby rooms)) or upgrading technology (such as replacing with more efficient sewage treatment modules).
  • Mobility: Lightweight structures and standardized dimensions facilitate transportation, enabling reuse and reducing long-term costs.

Openness in Form and Dimensions

Currently, publicly available information does not specify exact dimensional standards for "monolithic" toilets, but they generally reference container specifications (such as 20-foot or 40-foot standard containers) or common spans of light steel keel structures (3-6 meters). Actual product forms need to be combined with the manufacturer's design, with some models possibly adopting single-room layouts, while others form multi-toilet connected structures through module combinations.
