Hebei Container Light Steel House

Admin September 15, 2026

The Hebei container light steel house uses light steel keels as its load-bearing structure and adopts factory-prefabricated components for on-site assembly. It features strong earthquake resistance, a short construction period, environmental protection, and energy efficiency, making it suitable for various scenarios such as rural self-construction, cultural tourism homestays, and health and wellness retirement homes.

1. Structural System and Materials
The Hebei container light steel house mainly adopts two types of structural systems:

  • Light Steel System: It uses hot-dipped aluminum-zinc light steel keels as the load-bearing structure, paired with rock wool sound insulation and thermal insulation layers, OSB structural boards, antique metal tiles or terracotta tiles, and exterior walls featuring imitation blue brick cladding and antique relief components, along with anti-corrosion and anti-rust fasteners. The main structure has a lifespan of over 70 years.
  • Box Combination System: It uses hot-dipped galvanized square steel as the box frame, paired with 75mm thickened rock wool insulated color steel plates. The roof features an antique sloped roof waterproof layer, and the exterior walls are clad with imitation antique bricks and wood grain decorative panels. It supports disassembly and relocation and can be reused multiple times.
Both systems adopt factory-prefabricated components for on-site assembly construction. The interiors are pre-installed with full-house strong and weak current wiring, kitchen and bathroom fixtures, wall and ceiling interiors, underfloor heating, and air conditioning units, allowing for immediate use upon delivery.

2. Performance Advantages

  • Earthquake Resistance and Durability: The light steel material is lightweight and flexible, with earthquake resistance meeting the requirements of magnitude 9. The structure is stable and corrosion-resistant, with a service life far exceeding that of traditional brick-and-mortar houses.
  • Construction Efficiency: Factory-prefabricated components are assembled on-site, shortening the construction period by more than half compared to traditional brick-and-mortar construction. Additionally, construction is less affected by weather conditions, making it suitable for rapid construction needs.
  • Environmental Protection and Energy Efficiency: The walls are filled with rock wool insulation layers, keeping indoor temperatures 3-5℃ higher in winter and providing excellent heat insulation in summer compared to traditional buildings. The material recycling rate reaches 90%, meeting green building standards.
  • Functional Adaptability: It can replicate traditional Chinese architectural elements such as flying eaves, courtyards, and corridors, with a higher floor area ratio than traditional brick-and-mortar houses. It supports an integrated layout of the main building, guest rooms, tea rooms, kitchens, and courtyard gardens.

3. Application Scenarios
The Hebei container light steel house is widely used in scenarios such as rural self-built houses, vacation homestays, health and wellness retirement courtyards, antique-style residences in ancient towns, farm reception courtyards, cultural tourism scenic area antique houses, and family self-occupied courtyards. It meets the climatic characteristics of the four seasons in northern China and balances traditional aesthetics with modern functionality.
