Hanyang Simple Mobile Toilet
Hanyang District has set up simple mobile toilets around college entrance examination sites, at the Hanyang end of the Wuhan Yangtze River Bridge, and at outdoor construction sites to meet the needs of different groups of people.
Around the college entrance examination sites, the Urban Management and Law Enforcement Bureau of Hanyang District made flexible arrangements according to the conditions of different examination sites. There were no fixed public toilets within 300 meters of the Wuhan Qingchuan Senior High School examination site. The Urban Management and Law Enforcement Bureau set up 4 mobile toilets at a vacant location opposite the school one day in advance. It only took 1 minute to walk from the school gate to the toilets. There was a convenience service pavilion in front of the mobile toilets, equipped with toilet paper and hand sanitizer. Inside the toilets, there were hand-washing sinks, and the floors were clean and free of water. During the three days of the college entrance examination, 4 toilet attendants were on duty in two shifts in the morning and afternoon, cleaning every 15 minutes. The original fixed public toilet at the south gate of Wuhan No.3 High School was about 500 meters away from the examination site, making it inconvenient for the accompanying people to use the toilet temporarily. The Public Toilet Management Center of the Urban Management and Law Enforcement Bureau set up 3 mobile toilets on the sidewalk opposite the south gate of the school, close to the entrance and exit of the examination site. A convenience service pavilion was set up beside the mobile toilets, equipped with toilet paper, hand sanitizer, and other supplies.
At the Hanyang end of the Wuhan Yangtze River Bridge, there was a public toilet built in the early 1990s. After a comprehensive upgrade, 6 "unisex tidal toilet compartments" were added. This design can dynamically adjust the ratio of male and female toilet stalls in real-time according to the flow of people using the toilets, effectively solving the problem of "idle male toilets and long queues at female toilets". The upgraded public toilet has also added many convenience facilities, such as toilet paper, hand sanitizer, hand dryers, warm water hand-washing devices, air conditioners, and fresh air systems inside the toilets, providing citizens with a more comfortable and convenient toilet environment.
In terms of outdoor construction sites, the Wangjiawan Business District in Hanyang offers mobile toilet rental services for construction sites in Hanyang and Caidian districts. This service supports flexible cooperation modes such as short-term and long-term rentals. Some merchants also provide free cleaning and maintenance services, solving the toilet problems for construction workers.
