It is the first movable landscape public toilet in Hangzhou. This toilet was introduced from Xiamen by the Jianggan District Urban Management Bureau and jointly built with the Sijiqing Subdistrict. It officially opened on June 29, 2019. With a unique design, it is produced entirely in a factory and then transported to the site for hoisting and installation. It only requires connection to pipelines to be operational. This construction method is not only efficient but also allows for point adjustments as needed in the later stages, effectively saving construction costs. The toilet is well-equipped internally, featuring basic facilities such as urinals, squat toilets, and sinks, and incorporates intelligent functions like music playback when the door is closed, automatic flushing when the door is opened, and deodorization and sterilization, enhancing the user experience. Additionally, there are signs around the toilet to facilitate easy location for citizens and tourists. During the pilot period, the toilet was open from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. Based on the pilot results, relevant departments plan to add more mobile toilets near the Qiantang River embankment to meet the needs of more people.
