Mobile Toilets in Hangzhou

The situation of mobile toilets in Hangzhou covers various types, including mobile landscape public toilets, manufacturers, rental services, and temporary mobile toilets for construction sites.

Mobile Landscape Public Toilets

The first mobile landscape public toilet in Hangzhou is located at the intersection of Qianchao Road and Sanxin Road on the Qiantang River embankment in Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province. This toilet was introduced from Xiamen and jointly built by the Jianggan District Urban Management Bureau, under the guidance of the Hangzhou Municipal Urban Management Bureau, and the Sijiqing Subdistrict. It officially opened on June 29, 2019. The toilet is manufactured as a whole in the factory and then transported to the site for hoisting and installation. It only requires connection to pipelines to be put into use. This construction method allows for adjustments to the location based on actual needs in the later stages, effectively saving construction costs. The toilet is fully equipped with facilities such as urinals, squat toilets, and sinks. It also features intelligent functions such as playing music when the door is closed, automatic flushing when the door is opened, and deodorization and sterilization, enhancing the user experience. There are signs around the toilet to facilitate citizens in finding it. During the pilot period, its opening hours were from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. Relevant departments plan to add more mobile toilets near the Qiantang River embankment based on the pilot results to meet the needs of more citizens.
