To effectively address this issue, the Hangzhou urban management department has taken a series of measures, with one important one being the reasonable arrangement of mobile toilets along the viewing areas.

Spacing of mobile toilet arrangements: The urban management department sets up mobile toilets at intervals of no more than 500 meters. This layout ensures that citizens, regardless of their location within the viewing area while watching the fireworks, can find a mobile toilet within a relatively short distance. This greatly facilitates their use, avoids the inconvenience and distress caused by searching for toilets, and reduces some uncivilized behaviors that may occur due to urgent needs, helping to maintain order and environmental hygiene at the event site.

Quantity of mobile toilets set up: Taking the period of the 2023 "Welcoming the Asian Games and Celebrating the Lantern Festival" fireworks and light show as an example, the urban management department set up a total of 170 mobile public toilets. This number was determined after comprehensive consideration of various factors, including the expected pedestrian traffic for the event, the size of the event venue, and the distribution and carrying capacity of the existing public toilets. An adequate number of mobile toilets can meet the toilet needs of a large number of citizens during the event, avoiding long queues for toilet use and enhancing citizens' sense of experience and satisfaction in participating in the event.

Role and significance of mobile toilets: The setting up of mobile toilets not only solves the toilet problems of citizens during the event but also reflects the attention and importance given by the urban management department to citizens' needs, demonstrating the精细化 (meticulous) level of urban management.
