Handan Container House Price List

Admin September 16, 2026

There is no unified and fixed price list for container houses in Handan. Prices are influenced by multiple factors, and there are significant differences in prices among container houses of different types, specifications, and configurations. Here is some information on the factors affecting prices and the relevant price ranges:

By type:

  • Basic brand-new container houses: For a standard 3m x 6m (about 18 square meters) container house, the price range is very wide. A basic brand-new container house may cost 'tens of thousands of yuan'.
  • Second-hand container houses: Second-hand prices are usually within 10,000 yuan, and some are priced at around 5,000 yuan. When converted to per square meter, the price differences are enormous.

By material and configuration:

  • Simple/economical type: With a simple structure, it is mostly used for short-term construction site dormitories, warehouses, etc., with a reference price of 300 yuan per square meter.
  • Standard type: A common type, such as a light steel movable house with a framed double-slope roof, with a reference price of 400 yuan per square meter.
  • Luxury/customized type: With a better appearance and higher configuration, such as a luxury flat-top movable house, with a reference price of 1,000 yuan per square meter.
  • High-end/fully-furnished type: Using better materials and interior decoration, it may include tiled floors, real stone paint exterior walls, etc., suitable for long-term or high-quality use, with a reference price of 2,000 yuan per square meter.

Other influencing factors:

  • Specification: For an area less than 100 square meters, the unit price increases by about 10%; for an area greater than 500 square meters, it decreases by 10 - 15%; a two-story structure is 15 - 25% more expensive than the first floor.
  • Region: Prices in first-tier cities are 10% - 30% higher than those in second- and third-tier cities; transportation over 50 km requires an additional charge based on distance; in remote areas, labor and freight costs increase, and the unit price goes up.
  • Additional costs: Foundation treatment may account for about 15% of the total cost.
  • Project volume: The larger the area, the lower the unit price; for small-area scattered construction, the unit price is much higher.
  • Number of floors: A double-story structure is slightly more expensive than a single-story one, with additional steel stairs, walkways, and second-floor guardrails.
