Hand-Pressed Hydraulic Vehicle for Mobile Toilet

Admin October 10, 2026

When using a hand-pressed hydraulic vehicle to move a mobile toilet, it is necessary to conduct a comprehensive assessment based on the equipment type, load capacity, dimensions, and operational specifications to ensure safety and feasibility.

1. Equipment Type Selection

Hand-pressed hydraulic vehicles are divided into ordinary transport vehicles and special-function models, which need to be matched according to the mobile toilet's movement requirements:

  1. Ordinary Manual Hydraulic Transport Vehicle: Suitable for short-distance horizontal transport on flat ground, with core components including forks, hydraulic cylinders, and wheels. If the toilet only requires ground-level translation without height requirements, this type of vehicle can meet the needs.
  2. Manual Hydraulic Stacking Vehicle: Equipped with a gantry and lifting chains, it can achieve vertical lifting (such as stacking or loading/unloading onto vehicles). If the toilet needs to be lifted to a certain height (such as stacking mobile toilets), this type of vehicle should be selected.
  3. Scissor-Type Hydraulic Lifting Platform Vehicle: With a lifting height range of 220-900 millimeters, it is suitable for scenarios requiring precise height adjustments, such as toilet installation or maintenance.

2. Load Capacity and Dimension Adaptation

  1. Load Capacity Matching: Manual hydraulic vehicles typically have a load capacity of 1.0-5.0 tons, and the model should be selected according to the actual weight of the toilet. If the toilet's weight exceeds the rated value (such as a heavy-duty transport vehicle with a load capacity of 3000/5000 kg), it may cause equipment damage or tipping risks.
  2. Fork Dimension Adaptation: The bottom of the toilet needs to reserve space for fork insertion (such as a pallet structure), and the fork width (standard wide vehicle: 685×1200 mm, narrow vehicle: 540×1150 mm) needs to match the bottom structure of the toilet to avoid inability to secure due to dimension mismatches.

3. Operational Specifications and Safety Points

  1. Lifting Operation: Fully insert the forks into the bottom of the toilet and drive the hydraulic system to lift the toilet by pressing the handle downward, ensuring the toilet remains stable and without tilting during the lifting process.
  2. Movement Method: Pull the hydraulic vehicle directly (pushing is not conducive to direction control), maintain a constant speed, and avoid sharp turns or bumpy roads.
  3. Lowering Operation: Slowly pull the handle upward or step on the control valve to control the lowering speed, preventing the toilet from being damaged by impact.
  4. Safety Devices: Prioritize selecting models equipped with safety devices such as controllable lowering speed and anti-pinch scissor-type structures, and confirm compliance with the European EN1570:1999 safety standard.

4. Precautions

  1. Check the ground flatness before moving to avoid tipping due to inclination.
  2. Do not overload the vehicle; the internal overflow valve can provide overload protection, but long-term overloading will shorten the equipment's lifespan.
  3. If the toilet's weight or dimensions exceed the load capacity range of the manual hydraulic vehicle, switch to a forklift or other heavy-duty transport equipment.
