Half Marathon Mobile Toilets

Admin October 09, 2026

Half marathon events typically set up mobile toilets to meet the needs of participants.

Firstly, from the perspective of event planning, many half marathon organizing committees carefully plan the locations of mobile toilets. For example, the organizing committee of the 2026 Yicheng Half Marathon specifically planned a layout of mobile toilet locations at the start/finish line and along the course. This comprehensive coverage fully takes into account the different needs of participants before, during, and after the race, ensuring that participants can easily find mobile toilets at all stages.

Secondly, the number of mobile toilets set up is reasonably arranged according to the scale of the event and the conditions of the course. Taking the 2025 Urumqi Marathon as an example, a total of 485 mobile single toilets were set up along the course, distributed across 19 fixed locations. Such a large number of mobile toilets can effectively disperse the usage pressure of participants, avoid long waiting times, and ensure the smooth progress of the event.

Furthermore, the importance of mobile toilets can also be seen from the actual experience of participants. A runner at the Liuzhou Half Marathon, after using a mobile toilet on the side of the course at the 15-kilometer mark, still managed to break the two-hour mark in a thrilling finish. This shows that the locations of mobile toilets are reasonable and do not cause significant interference to the participants' race progress. Participants can conveniently use mobile toilets when needed and then continue to participate in the race.

In conclusion, whether from the perspectives of event planning, quantity setup, or participant experience, setting up mobile toilets at half marathon events is a very necessary and common measure that provides convenience for participants and ensures the smooth progress of the event.
