Hailin Container House Installation

Admin September 17, 2026

The installation of container houses in Hailin City should follow the following steps to ensure safety and functionality:

  1. Site and Foundation Preparation
    Select a flat, dry, and well-drained site, clear away debris, and measure the dimensions. The type of foundation should be chosen based on the geological conditions:

    • Steel Foundation: Suitable for soft soil foundations, dispersing loads through steel frames;
    • Concrete Foundation: With strong load-bearing capacity, it needs to be poured to the design elevation and pre-embedded parts should be reserved;
    • Wooden Foundation: Suitable for temporary buildings, requiring anti-corrosion treatment.
      After foundation construction, the flatness should be inspected, with an error controlled within ±5mm.
  2. On-site Adjustment and Pre-inspection

    • Use a laser level to determine the installation direction of the container, ensuring a horizontal error of ≤2mm/m;
    • Inspect the container surface: no rust, deformation, or cracks; cutting edges should be polished smooth and coated with anti-rust paint;
    • Check the design drawings to confirm the reserved positions for doors, windows, and pipelines.
  3. Frame Construction and Container Positioning

    • Steel Column Installation: Fix the steel columns to the foundation pre-embedded parts according to the design spacing, using high-strength bolts for connection. The torque value should meet the specification requirements;
    • Beam Structure Assembly: Form a load-bearing frame through welding or bolt connection, and inspect the verticality deviation, which should be ≤H/1000 (H is the column height);
    • Container Hoisting: Use a crane to slowly position the container, assisted by a guide frame for positioning. The gap between adjacent containers should be ≤10mm.
  4. Details of the Bottom Frame of Assembled Container Houses

    • Bottom Beam Connection: Fix the container corners to the bottom beams with hexagon socket bolts, and tighten them after the diagonal difference is ≤3mm;
    • Secondary Beam Installation: π-shaped secondary beams should be fixed with self-tapping screws and round-head drill tail screws, with a spacing of ≤300mm;
    • Floor Laying: Mark and nail along the centerline of the π-shaped beams, with a nail spacing of ≤200mm, avoiding exposed nail heads.
  5. Peripheral Enclosure and System Installation

    • Roof and Exterior Walls: Install waterproof panels, skylights, and rainwater pipes, and apply sealant at the joints;
    • Electrical System: Wire according to electrical specifications, with sockets at least 300mm above the ground and explosion-proof treatment for lamps;
    • Pipeline System: The slope of water supply and drainage pipelines should be ≥1%. Test the tightness by maintaining pressure for 30 minutes without leakage.
  6. Safety and Environmental Protection Measures

    • Construction personnel should wear safety helmets, non-slip shoes, and safety belts for high-altitude operations;
    • Set up sound barriers to reduce noise, sprinkle water in the construction area to reduce dust, and classify and dispose of waste.
  7. Acceptance and Maintenance

    • Acceptance items include structural stability, waterproof performance, electrical safety, etc., and a test report should be issued;
    • Regularly inspect container connections and roof drains, and perform anti-corrosion treatment every 2 years.

Key Tip: If it involves assembled container houses, strictly monitor the installation accuracy of the bottom frame; otherwise, it may lead to floor deformation or water leakage risks.
