Haikou Mobile Toilet Installation Process
Admin October 05, 2026
The installation process of mobile toilets in Haikou typically includes four core steps: positioning, assembly, connection, and functional inspection and debugging. Details are as follows:

1. Positioning
Determine the installation location based on site planning and ground conditions, which must meet the following requirements:
- Ground firmness: Ensure the ground is level and free of soft soil or potholes. If the ground is soil or uneven, it should be hardened in advance (e.g., by pouring concrete) or covered with steel plates to prevent the toilet from tilting or being damaged due to ground settlement after installation.
- Drainage conditions: If the toilet needs to be connected to the sewage system, ensure the installation location is close to the municipal sewage network or a dedicated septic tank, and the ground slope is reasonable for natural sewage discharge.
2. Assembly
Choose the corresponding assembly method based on the toilet type (split-type or integrated):
- Split-type mobile toilets:
- Chassis and frame placement: Use a forklift or manual labor to place the prefabricated steel structure chassis steadily at the predetermined location and adjust it to a level state with a level gauge to ensure subsequent installation stability.
- Wall and roof panel installation: Insert the sandwich panel wall panels into the chassis slots one by one and secure them with bolts or clips; then install the roof panel and perform sealing treatment (e.g., applying waterproof glue or installing sealing strips) to prevent rainwater leakage. This step usually takes 1-2 hours to complete.
- Internal facility connection: Install partitions, toilets, flushing systems, sinks (optional), lighting, and ventilation equipment. The connection of water and electricity pipelines should be carried out by professionals, but the modular quick-connect design can shorten the time.
- Integrated mobile toilets (e.g., container-type toilets):
The factory has completed the interior decoration and equipment integration. On-site, it only needs to be hoisted as a whole to the predetermined location by a crane and connected to water, electricity, and sewage pipelines. The installation time can be shortened to 2-4 hours.
3. Connection
Complete the sewage pipeline or water and electricity connections according to the toilet type:
- Connection to the municipal sewage system: If the toilet needs to be discharged into the municipal network, lay sewage pipelines and ensure a reasonable slope to prevent blockages.
- Connection to a dedicated septic tank: If an independent septic tank is used, connect the sewage pipelines and set up inspection wells for easy maintenance later.
- Waterless or biodegradable toilets: No sewage pipeline connection is required, but the degradation container needs to be cleaned regularly or consumables replaced.
4. Functional Inspection and Debugging
After installation, a comprehensive test is required:
- Flush test: Check if the flushing system is unobstructed and the water volume meets the standard.
- Circuit inspection: Ensure that lighting and ventilation equipment work properly and there is no risk of electric leakage.
- Sealing inspection: Focus on checking the wall joints, roof, and sewage pipeline connections to prevent water leakage or odor leakage.
Installation standards: Refer to the Mobile Toilet Hygiene Standards (GB/T 21239-2023) to ensure structural safety, hygiene compliance, and environmental protection requirements.
