Haidian Mobile Toilet Fecal Treatment

Admin October 09, 2026

There are various methods for fecal treatment in mobile toilets in Haidian, mainly including the cleaning of detachable fecal storage devices, suction by professional fecal suction trucks, biodegradation, chemical treatment, and solid-liquid separation treatment following advanced technological paths.

For mobile toilets equipped with detachable fecal storage buckets or plastic bags, this is a relatively common and basic treatment method. Staff members need to regularly clean the fecal storage buckets or plastic bags and transport the feces to designated treatment sites. This method is relatively simple to operate and has low costs, but it requires frequent manual operations and attention to preventing leakage and odor diffusion during transportation.

For row-connected mobile toilets used in large-scale events, they are usually connected to underground fecal storage tanks through pipelines. When the fecal storage tanks reach a certain capacity, professional fecal suction trucks are used for centralized suction, and then the feces are sent to sewage treatment plants for further treatment. This method is suitable for handling large amounts of feces, can improve treatment efficiency, and reduce the frequency of manual cleaning.

Biodegradable mobile toilets utilize added microbial agents to decompose feces. Microorganisms can decompose the organic matter in feces into harmless substances such as water and carbon dioxide. This method is environmentally friendly and sustainable, reducing fecal pollution to the environment. However, the use of microbial agents requires certain conditions, such as appropriate temperature and humidity, to ensure their activity.

Chemical toilets decompose feces, inhibit bacterial growth, and reduce odors by adding chemical agents. However, the treated wastewater contains chemicals and needs to be disposed of as hazardous waste; otherwise, it may cause harm to the environment.

In addition, some mobile restrooms in public places in Beijing adopt more advanced technological paths, with the core equipment being solid-liquid separation devices. After separating the liquid and solid, they are treated separately. The liquid part enters a multi-layer biofilm reactor and is decomposed into carbon dioxide, water, and nitrogen through microbial metabolism principles. The treated water quality meets the standards and can be reused for toilet flushing. The solid part is sent to a dehydration bin with a heating device and transformed into dry particles through low-temperature pyrolysis. These particles can undergo biogas fermentation to generate electricity, forming a closed loop of 'waste - energy - equipment operation'. Although there is currently no clear information indicating that mobile toilets in Haidian specifically adopt this advanced technology, these treatment methods provide reference examples for fecal treatment in mobile toilets in Haidian.
