Guilin Squat Mobile Toilet

Admin September 28, 2026

The Guilin squat mobile toilet is a portable sanitation facility widely used in tourist attractions, park trails, and other locations, characterized by its lightweight, hygienic, and eco-friendly design.

Structural Features

The main frame of the Guilin squat mobile toilet is typically made of lightweight steel structures or high-density polyethylene materials, offering high strength while being easy to transport and install quickly. The base is equipped with adjustable feet or small prefabricated foundations, allowing direct placement on flat ground without damaging the surface, adapting to various terrain requirements. The walls are often constructed from corrosion-resistant, moisture-proof composite sandwich panels, with an outer layer coated with UV-resistant material to effectively resist natural environmental erosion and extend service life. The roof is designed with a slight slope and features rain-proof eaves, with some models also incorporating small exhaust fans or ventilation louvers to enhance air circulation and reduce odor buildup.

The internal space is compact yet well-organized, typically divided into squat toilet areas, urinal areas (for males), and handwashing areas, meeting basic usage needs. The door locks are equipped with emergency devices that can be opened from both inside and outside, ensuring quick access in emergencies; the bottom fecal collection tank is separated from the upper toilet body by a sealed partition, with an exhaust pipe leading directly outside the tank to prevent odor backflow.

Sanitary Design

Squat toilets often adopt self-priming or foam-sealing designs: the self-priming type uses negative pressure to suck excreta into a sealed fecal collection tank, preventing splashing; the foam-sealing type uses foaming liquid to cover the excreta surface, forming an isolation layer and reducing water consumption for flushing (saving over 80% of water). Handwashing basins are usually equipped with foot-operated or sensor-activated water outlets to avoid cross-contact infections; wastewater is discharged through independent pipes into sewer networks or collection buckets to prevent environmental pollution.

The inner walls of the fecal collection tank are coated with anti-stick coatings for easy cleaning; excreta are regularly removed through dedicated sewage suction trucks via external connections to ensure hygiene. All pipe connections are fitted with check valves to prevent sewage backflow; the exhaust pipe outlet is equipped with insect-proof nets to prevent mosquitoes and other insects from entering. Some toilet facilities in scenic areas also include hand sanitizer dispensers and automatic air fresheners, with walls made of smooth, non-permeable panels and floors laid with anti-slip patterned aluminum plates or plastic grilles featuring drainage channels, further enhancing hygiene and safety.

Application Scenarios

Due to its rapid deployment, eco-friendliness, and easy maintenance, the Guilin squat mobile toilet is widely used in tourist attractions, park trails, temporary event venues, and other locations, effectively alleviating the problem of limited public restroom access while reducing reliance on fixed infrastructure, aligning with sustainable development principles.
