Guanshan Mobile Toilet Installation

Admin September 21, 2026

The following general procedures and precautions can be referred to for the installation of mobile toilets in Guanshan, and adjustments should be made according to local terrain, climate, and other conditions:

1. Site Selection and Ground Preparation Choose a flat area with a solid foundation, avoiding slopes, low-lying areas, or soft soil zones. If there are slopes in the Guanshan area, a concrete platform can be constructed for leveling to ensure the overall levelness of the toilet. The ground should be simply leveled, and if possible, gravel can be laid or a concrete foundation can be poured to enhance load-bearing capacity and optimize drainage performance. Reserve sufficient space for personnel access and equipment maintenance, while considering the surrounding environmental hygiene and privacy protection.

2. Main Structure Assembly Mobile toilets are usually transported to the site in the form of prefabricated components. During installation, the base plate, wall panels, roof cover, and other components should be assembled strictly according to the instructions. Focus on checking whether the buckles or bolts at each connection are tightened to avoid structural looseness; the roof must be sealed properly to prevent rainwater leakage. If multiple units are installed in combination, a reasonable spacing (usually ≥0.5 meters) should be maintained for ventilation and maintenance.

3. Sewage System Connection

  • Flush Toilets: Connect to municipal sewage pipes or a self-built septic tank. The sewage pipes should maintain a slope of 1%-2% to ensure the natural flow of waste. A rubber sealing ring should be installed at the connection between the sewage outlet and the external pipe to prevent odor leakage.
  • Waterless/Biodegradable Toilets: Install a sealed waste storage tank, regularly clean and replace the biodegradable materials to avoid waste overflow.

4. Water Supply and Flush Device Installation When connecting the water supply hose, tighten the joints and adjust the water output (recommended 3-5 seconds per flush) and response speed of the flush valve. If the Guanshan area is cold in winter, the water pipes should be wrapped with insulation cotton or use electric tracing technology to prevent freezing and cracking. The water supply pressure should meet the equipment requirements (usually 0.1-0.3MPa) to avoid weak flushing or leakage.

5. Ventilation System Setup Install an exhaust fan or ventilation duct. The ventilation openings are generally located on the roof or the upper part of the side walls, and should be equipped with insect screens (pore size ≤1mm) and waterproof covers. The power cords should be protected by conduits and fixed to avoid contact with sharp objects. If the wind is strong in the Guanshan area, a deflector should be installed to optimize ventilation efficiency.

6. Internal Facility Installation The toilet seat, sink, and other accessories should be sealed with the wall. The sink drain pipe should be connected to the designated pipe. If a mirror is equipped, use explosion-proof glass and fix it firmly. The internal lighting should use waterproof fixtures (IP rating ≥IP44) to ensure electrical safety.

7. Anti-slip and Safety Measures Lay anti-slip mats or choose floors with concave-convex patterns on the ground, and paste yellow-black warning strips on steps and thresholds. If the toilet height exceeds 2 meters, protective railings should be installed. Regularly check the structural stability, and install ground anchors in areas with strong winds.

8. Final Inspection and Debugging Test the operation of the flush device, sewage pipes, doors and windows, ventilation equipment, and other systems, clean up installation debris and thoroughly clean the inside and outside of the toilet. In places with low usage frequency in winter, the stored water should be drained to prevent pipe freezing and cracking.
