Guangzhong Street Mobile Toilets

Guangzhong Street has set up mobile toilets during the COVID-19 prevention and control period, primarily distributed near Xibaoxing Road and Guangzhong Road Fangcang Hospital.

Mobile Toilet Setup on Xibaoxing Road:
The environmental sanitation management department of Hongkou District urgently allocated four single-unit mobile toilets to address the toilet difficulties faced by residents of Lane 949 on Xibaoxing Road due to old housing, lack of independent sanitation facilities, and the closure of the original public toilets for sanitation management. Given the narrow roads in the area, large trucks could not transport the toilets in one go, so 2-ton small trucks were used for batch delivery. The toilets arrived at the site陆续 (gradually) starting at 11 PM that evening and were fully installed and debugged by midnight, becoming operational early the next morning. The selection of toilet locations, water connection, and sewage disposal methods were jointly determined by the environmental sanitation department, the street, and construction personnel based on the actual site conditions to ensure they met both residents' needs and epidemic prevention requirements. Additionally, cleaning staff received training on timed disinfection and targeted disinfection of key areas to ensure the hygiene and safety of the mobile toilets.

Mobile Toilet Setup at Guangzhong Road Fangcang Hospital:
To support the construction of Guangzhong Road Fangcang Hospital, relevant departments installed eight mobile shower units and one mobile toilet according to the schedule to meet the toilet and showering needs of frontline personnel. Furthermore, they coordinated with specialized fecal extraction companies in the district to regularly extract fecal waste from the mobile toilets, ensuring their normal operation and hygienic environment. This measure not only demonstrated care for frontline personnel but also provided strong support for the smooth conduct of epidemic prevention and control work.
