Guangyuan Container House Installation

Admin September 15, 2026

The installation of container houses in Guangyuan requires a combination of professional construction plans and standardized operating procedures, covering aspects such as foundation preparation, structural assembly, connection and fixation, as well as acceptance and maintenance.

I. Pre-installation Preparation

  1. Site and Foundation: Ensure the ground is level and pre-bury drainage pipes or pour concrete piers according to design requirements. For example, a customized cold-chain container project in Guangyuan adopted a concrete foundation with a sloped drainage design to prevent water accumulation.
  2. Component Inspection: Verify the container body numbers, assembly sequence, and positions of water and electricity pipeline interfaces to ensure that the foundation embedded parts match the hole positions of the container base corner fittings.
  3. Tools and Personnel: Prepare specialized tools such as hexagon socket bolts, self-tapping screws, and round-head drill tail screws, and have them operated by a professional team. For instance, Jinhua Xin'an Steel Structure Engineering Co., Ltd. offers a one-stop service of design, production, sales, and installation, with a well-divided team covering lifting, structural reinforcement, and water and electricity installation.

II. Structural Assembly Process

  1. Bottom Frame Installation: Connect the container base corners to the bottom beams, secure them with hexagon socket bolts, and adjust the diagonal differences of the bottom frame to be ≤3mm before tightening. When laying π-shaped secondary beams, install them according to the positioning holes and fix them with self-tapping screws, reinforcing the top with round-head drill tail screws.
  2. Floor Laying: Lay magnesium oxide board substrates along the 6-meter direction, cut the corners according to the chalk lines, and then lay the floor. The splicing joints should coincide with the centerline of the π-shaped beams, and fix them with cross-head flat-tail screws at intervals of 300-350mm.
  3. Walls and Roof: For foldable containers, first lift the main frame, install the support rods after unfolding, and then gradually push open the walls and tighten the screws. The roof frame is welded with square steel tubes, and the roof panels are rock wool color steel plates, requiring sealing and waterproofing treatment.

III. Connection and Fixation

  1. Node Seismic Treatment: When stacking multiple containers, fix the upper and lower container bodies with bolts through angle steel gusset plates to ensure verticality. For example, a temporary office project in Guangyuan adopted a light steel frame with rock wool sandwich panels, and the node connections should comply with the "Code for Acceptance of Construction Quality of Steel Structures" (GB50205-2020).
  2. Waterproof Sealing: Apply PVC special adhesive to the floor joints, lay the floor glue, and expel the air. Weld the splicing joints. The connection between the wall and the base should be spot-welded into a whole to prevent water leakage.

IV. Acceptance and Maintenance

  1. Acceptance Criteria: Check the structural stability, water and electricity installation, and fire protection equipment to ensure compliance with the "Technical Standard for Modular Combination Container Houses" (CECS334-2012).
  2. Post-maintenance: Regularly inspect the tightness of bolts, the integrity of the waterproof layer, and the operating status of the refrigeration unit (for cold-chain containers) to extend the service life.
