Guang'an Prefabricated Assembly-Type Housing

Admin September 18, 2026

Guang'an has witnessed rapid development in the field of prefabricated assembly-type housing, forming a five-in-one promotion system encompassing industry, policy, projects, technology, and innovation.

In terms of industrial project implementation, Linshui County has collaborated with Meihao Real Estate Group to construct a green prefabricated industrial project with a total investment of 1.4 billion yuan. The project has introduced the world's advanced production line from German company Ebawe. Upon completion, it will produce over 300,000 cubic meters of concrete prefabricated components for housing annually. This project not only enhances the local production capacity of prefabricated components but also lays a foundation for the high-quality development of Guang'an's prefabricated construction industry by introducing international advanced technology.

At the policy support and planning level, Guang'an City has explicitly required in its 14th Five-Year Plan for the new construction industry that the application rate of prefabricated components in newly built public buildings should be no less than 45%. By 2026, the penetration rate of prefabricated buildings in Sichuan Province is expected to exceed 38%, with Guang'an City maintaining an average annual growth rate of 22.7% for three consecutive years, demonstrating strong development momentum driven by policies. Policy guidance has not only spurred market demand growth but also provided direction for the standardized and large-scale development of the industry.

Regarding project developments, in 2026, 27 prefabricated construction projects in Guang'an City are in the stages of construction preparation or main structure construction, covering three major livelihood sectors: education, healthcare, and affordable housing. For example, a school project in Guang'an has completed the technical disclosure of PC components and initiated bidding, while a hospital project is conducting procurement intention solicitation for ALC wall panels and integrated bathroom systems. The implementation of these projects directly reflects the application value of prefabricated buildings in public service facilities.

In terms of technical standards and quality control, Guang'an City enforces strict local standards, such as precise installation tolerances for prefabricated components down to the millimeter level, a requirement for外墙板 (external wall panel) joint waterproofing performance to pass a 36-hour water spray test, and a control on the floor impact sound pressure level below 75 decibels. Simultaneously, a five-tier quality assurance mechanism has been established, including destructive testing of components before leaving the factory,北斗 (Beidou) positioning monitoring during transportation, and QR code traceability acceptance upon arrival, ensuring full-process quality control from production to installation.

Regarding innovative incentive measures, Guang'an City offers a floor area ratio incentive of 0.5%-1% for projects adopting innovative technologies such as non-removable formwork and integrated kitchens and bathrooms. It encourages standardized design by requiring the specification of prefabricated components for residential buildings to be controlled within 20 types and for public buildings to not exceed 35 types. These measures have effectively reduced construction costs, improved construction efficiency, and promoted the iterative upgrading of prefabricated construction technology.
