Gray Mobile Toilet Installation Guide

Admin October 09, 2026

The installation of gray mobile toilets requires selecting the appropriate tutorial based on the type, with common types including those for construction sites and general-purpose ones. The specific installation steps are as follows:

I. Installation Guide for Gray Mobile Toilets on Construction Sites

  1. Pre-installation Preparations

    • Site Survey: Determine the installation location in advance, ensuring the ground is level and solid, and away from main construction roads and pollution sources. It is recommended to be more than 1.5 meters away from the edge of the foundation pit to avoid affecting toilet stability due to construction vibrations or collapses.
    • Material Verification: Check if the toilet body is intact and if all accessories (such as door locks, flush valves, sewage pipes, etc.) are complete. If any deformation of the toilet body or missing accessories are found, contact the supplier immediately for replacement to avoid rework after installation.
    • Foundation Treatment: Clear debris from the ground and lay a gravel or concrete foundation. The load-bearing requirement for a single toilet is ≥200kg/㎡. If the ground is soft, it needs to be reinforced to prevent the toilet body from sinking or tilting.
  2. On-site Installation Steps

    • Toilet Body Placement: Use a forklift or crane to lift the toilet body smoothly to the designated position and keep it level. When multiple people are cooperating, unified command is required to avoid collisions or tilting of the toilet body due to unsynchronized operations.
    • Drainage Connection: Connect the sewage pipe to the construction site's drainage system or a temporary collection pit. Seal the connection with sealing tape or cement to prevent leakage. If the drainage system has unstable pressure, install an anti-backflow valve to avoid sewage backflow.
    • Flush System Debugging: Connect the water source (tap water or a dedicated water tank) and test if the flush function works properly. Check if the drainage pipe is unobstructed. If water accumulates after flushing, adjust the pipe slope or clear blockages.
    • Internal and External Inspection: After installation, open the door to check if internal facilities (such as washbasins, hooks, toilet paper holders) are secure. Externally, check the toilet body's tightness to ensure there are no water or air leaks.

II. Installation Guide for General-purpose Gray Mobile Toilets

  1. Comprehensive Pre-installation Inspection

    • Check if there are any blockages such as sand or waste paper in the sewage pipe. If any are found, clean them up to avoid affecting drainage efficiency.
    • Check if the ground around the toilet installation area is level in all directions. If the ground is tilted, level it with cement to prevent the toilet from wobbling after installation.
  2. Determine the Sewage Pipe Center

    • Turn over the toilet and determine the center point on the sewage outlet, and draw a cross-center line. The center line should extend to the edges around the bottom of the toilet to ensure alignment with the ground sewage pipe during installation.
  3. Precisely Locate the Bottom Feet

    • Determine the installation positions of the bottom foot screws of the toilet based on the cross-center line. Use an impact drill to make installation holes and pre-embed plastic sleeves for expansion screws to enhance fixing stability.
  4. Seal the Bottom Properly

    • Install a dedicated sealing ring on the toilet's sewage outlet, or apply a circle of glass glue (putty) or cement mortar (with a cement-to-sand ratio of 1:3) around the sewage pipe to prevent sewage leakage. The sealing material should be applied evenly to avoid local gaps.
