Garden Mobile Environmental Toilet Design

Admin October 11, 2026

The design of garden mobile environmental toilets requires comprehensive consideration of various factors, including structural materials, styling, functional configurations, design principles, the ratio of squatting to sitting positions, and placement locations.

Structure and Materials: Typically, a frame-type structure is formed by welding steel materials. The base is welded with channel steel or I-beams, and square steel is used for the columns to meet lifting requirements, facilitating mobility and installation. The exterior wall materials are diverse, including color-coated steel sheets, metal carved panels, aluminum-plastic panels, and anti-corrosion wood. For example, some use thermal-insulating metal carved panels with grille designs, while others use thatch as the roofing material to create a pastoral style.

Styling Design: The overall structure should be lightweight, durable, and sturdy, with controlled height and width. A ridged roof design can be adopted for a more attractive appearance.

Functional Configurations: Regarding sanitary ware, there are clear standards for the dimensions of squatting positions for defecation and standing positions for urination, as well as corresponding requirements for aisle width. There are various sewage treatment methods: waterless flushing types do not require connection to water supply and drainage pipes, while water-flushing types do. Some products adopt technologies such as rainwater collection and filtration systems and the reuse of hand-washing water for toilet flushing to save water. For other facilities, there should be at least one hand-washing basin in both the men's and women's toilets, with the number of basins increased as appropriate when there are more than 10 squatting (sitting) positions. Each squatting position should be equipped with a hook for hanging items, and there should be clear Chinese signs at the entrances and exits. Some toilets also have rain-proof areas, public hand-washing basins, and beauty mirrors. Some products are equipped with intelligent systems that support remote control of lighting and flushing systems via a mobile app.

Design Principles: The principles of easy mobility, economic durability, environmental protection and ecology, environmental friendliness, improved efficiency, and the promotion of humanitarianism should be followed.

Ratio of Men's to Women's Squatting (Sitting) Positions: A ratio of 1:1 or 3:2 is appropriate.

Placement Location: It should be prominent and easy to find, facilitating the discharge of waste into the urban drainage system.
