Situation of the Logistics Industry in Gaoping District
Gaoping District has achieved remarkable results in the development of the logistics industry. Taking Nanchong Modern Logistics Park as an example, located in the Gaoping area of Linjiang New District, after 11 years of construction and operation, it has transformed from a barren mountain into a logistics new city and successfully stepped onto the stage of a "100-billion-yuan industrial park". As of now, it has achieved a cumulative social logistics volume of over 450 billion yuan and a logistics transaction volume exceeding 80 billion yuan. In 2023, the social logistics volume of the park reached over 100 billion yuan.
The logistics park has a planned area of 12.16 square kilometers, a completed area of 10.8 square kilometers, and a logistics warehousing area of nearly 3 million square meters. It has attracted more than 30 well-known logistics enterprises such as Zhejiang Transfar, Sichuan Nanxin, Shenzhen Youxin Songfeng, China Logistics, Singapore Fengshu, and Zhongtong, as well as more than 800 chain-related enterprises and over 1,000 merchants. The Gaoping District Party Committee and Government have focused on the goal of building a "100-billion-yuan logistics industrial cluster" and vigorously developed the modern logistics industry. The main leaders have gone on business trips for investment attraction many times, laying a solid foundation for the development of the logistics park. In February 2018, Nanchong Modern Logistics Park was selected as one of the second batch of national demonstration logistics parks and received titles such as "China Logistics Experimental Base", "China Western Logistics Equipment Industrial Base", and "China Logistics Technology and Equipment Recommended Brand".
Community Construction in Gaoping District
In terms of community construction, Gaoping District also has notable achievements. The 3CPARK Trendy Sports Park has been built, creating a public leisure and fitness space that integrates urban skateboarding, container coffee, and street art and culture. The Liuhe New Era Civilization Practice Park has been established, becoming a destination for public activities and rest, the "main base" for theoretical propaganda of new era civilization practice, and a "gathering place" for volunteer services. At the same time, while providing policy subsidies for elderly groups who come to the canteen for meals, it also offers thoughtful home-delivery meal services for elderly people with mobility issues, which has been well-received by the public.
