Gannan Park Mobile Toilet Installation

Admin October 09, 2026

The installation of mobile toilets in Gannan Park must follow standardized procedures to ensure safety, hygiene, and functional compliance. The specific steps are as follows:

1. Preliminary Preparation

  • Site Selection: The installation location must be flat and well-ventilated, and away from water pollution sources (such as rivers and lakes, at least 50 meters away) to prevent water contamination.
  • Site Clearance: Remove obstacles such as debris and stones from the site to ensure a level and stable ground for subsequent fixation.
  • Equipment Inspection: Check the equipment parts list to confirm that the main frame, toilet bowl, fecal storage tank, connectors (such as screws and seals), water supply/drainage components (water tank, water pipes), etc., are complete and undamaged.

2. Foundation Fixation

  • Main Body Positioning: Move the mobile toilet main body to the designated location and adjust its orientation to ensure reasonable placement of doors and windows (e.g., avoiding strong winds or direct sunlight).
  • Fixation Methods:
    • Expansion Screw Fixation: Suitable for hard surfaces (such as concrete), drill holes and install screws to firmly connect the main body bottom to the ground.
    • Counterweight Block Fixation: Use concrete counterweight blocks to press down on the main body bottom on soft surfaces (such as soil or sand) to prevent shaking or tipping.

3. Core Component Installation

  • Connection of Toilet Bowl and Fecal Storage Tank:
    • Align the toilet bowl's drainage outlet with the fecal storage tank's inlet, and use seals or silicone glue to fill gaps to ensure no leakage at the connection.
    • For dry toilets, fix the fecal storage tank's position to prevent movement; for water-flush toilets, connect the water tank and water pipes, and test the water pressure for stability.
  • Water Supply/Drainage System Connection:
    • Water-flush toilets need to be connected to municipal water pipes or independent water tanks, and valves should be installed to control water flow.
    • The drainage system needs to be connected to a septic tank or designated drainage outlet, with a slope design that meets specifications (usually ≥2%) to prevent backflow.

4. Auxiliary Facility Assembly

  • Door and Window Installation: Adjust the flexibility of door and window switches to ensure tight closure and prevent odor diffusion or rainwater infiltration.
  • Accessory Installation:
    • Install handrails on both sides of the toilet bowl for easy gripping by users; add hooks to the walls for hanging items.
    • Lay anti-slip mats on the ground to reduce the risk of slipping, especially suitable for use by the elderly or children.
  • Circuit Connection: Connect the power supply for lighting and exhaust fans, and test whether the power is on normally to ensure safe use at night.

5. Sealing and Debugging

  • Sealing Treatment: Use silicone strips to seal gaps between the main body and the ground, and between doors and windows, to prevent odor leakage; check whether the connections of drainage pipes are tight.
  • Functional Testing:
    • Flush Testing: Flush multiple times to observe whether the water flow is smooth, with no blockage or leakage.
    • Drainage Testing: Check whether the fecal storage tank can normally collect excrement and whether the drainage system has no backflow.
  • Cleaning and Organization: Clean up installation residues, and place toilet paper, deodorants, and other items in the toilet to enhance the user experience.

6. Safety Inspection and Acceptance

  • Structural Stability: Check whether the main frame and fixing screws are loose to ensure no risk of tilting or shaking.
  • Signage Setting: Post emergency contact information, usage instructions, and hygiene standard reminders inside the toilet.
  • Acceptance Criteria: Refer to the "Mobile Toilet Hygiene Standards" (GB/T 21239-2023) to confirm that hygiene, safety, and environmental protection indicators meet the standards before completing acceptance.

Notes: The installation of integrated box-type toilets is simpler, requiring only on-site hoisting, connection of water and electricity, and drainage pipes, which can be completed in 2-4 hours; such designs can be prioritized for remote scenic spots or temporary venues to reduce construction complexity.
