Container-related facilities in the construction of freight ports
In the project to enhance the inspection capacity of the Heixiazi Island highway freight port in Fuyuan City, the construction of container inspection equipment rooms is clearly involved. This project has built a new single-story large-scale container inspection equipment room with a floor area of 765.67 square meters. Inside the scanning hall of the equipment room, a set of H986 container vehicle inspection system is installed. The maximum energy of the accelerator electron beam of this system is 6MeV, and it belongs to a Class II radiation device. In addition, a new entry-channel inspection checkpoint has been built, and backscatter vehicle inspection equipment has been installed for the safety inspection of container vehicles. The construction of these facilities aims to improve the port's inspection capacity for container goods, ensure the safety and efficiency of cargo transportation, and reflect the important position of containers in the freight logistics of Fuyuan City.
Application of containers in logistics and transportation
As the only river-sea combined transportation departure port in Heilongjiang Province, Fuyuan Mangjita Port actively develops container transportation by relying on its unique geographical advantages. The "Fuyuan 89", the first domestic multi-purpose vessel custom-built for the waterway downstream of the Heilongjiang River, integrates bulk cargo, container, and irregular large-piece transportation. Its completion and commissioning will completely open up the water logistics channel connecting Fuyuan with inland rivers and seas and radiating global ports. This vessel can carry cross-border container goods in a standardized manner, meet the diversified trade needs such as the export of agricultural products from Fuyuan and the import of resources from the Russian Far East, significantly improve the cargo throughput efficiency and route operation flexibility of Mangjita Port, and highlight the key role of containers in the cross-border logistics of Fuyuan City.
Application of containers in tourism scenarios
In terms of tourism development, the high-end homestay area, including container homestays, has been planned in the Shell Beach Campground of the Dongji Tourist Area in Fuyuan City. This innovative application not only enriches the forms of tourism accommodation but also provides tourists with a unique accommodation experience, further promoting the development of the tourism industry in Fuyuan City.
