Prefabricated Panel Houses in Fushun City

Admin September 19, 2026

There is currently no clear relocation plan for some old prefabricated panel houses in Fushun City, and reinforcement is a more practical and feasible approach.

Relocation Plan Situation

At present, some prefabricated panel houses in Fushun City are quite old. For example, the prefabricated panel buildings on Huxi Street in Laohutai have been around for about 50 years, and Building No. 12 on Xiwu Road is a prefabricated panel building constructed in 1984. Regarding whether there are relocation plans for these old prefabricated panel houses, the Expropriation Office of the Huxi Street area in Laohutai has not yet received any relocation planning information for this plot. If a clear plan is established in the future, announcements will be posted in advance in the relevant streets and communities. The street community of Building No. 12 on Xiwu Road has also not received any notice from the district regarding the relocation of this building. If they receive a notice from higher authorities, they will inform the relevant residents as soon as possible. This indicates that, at least at this stage, there are no relevant relocation arrangements for these two representative old prefabricated panel houses.

Rationality of Reinforcement Treatment

Many towns in Liaoning face a situation of being short of both funds and space, making it difficult to withstand the impact of large-scale reconstruction. In this context, reinforcement has become the optimal solution in reality for old prefabricated panel buildings. As long as the methods are appropriate, reinforcement is absolutely reliable and much more cost-effective than direct demolition and reconstruction. Reinforcement follows a complete process, namely 'scientific inspection - precise reinforcement - dynamic monitoring'. First, through professional inspection, a comprehensive understanding of the problems existing in the building is obtained, such as structural strength and foundation stability. Then, different reinforcement measures are taken according to different problems. For example, applying carbon fiber sheets can enhance the tensile strength of components; pouring concrete overlay layers can improve the load-bearing capacity of floor slabs; adding steel structural 'skeletons' can enhance the overall structural stability of the building; and using the grouting method to stabilize the foundation can solve problems such as foundation settlement. Through these scientific and effective reinforcement means, the safety and durability of old prefabricated panel houses can be significantly improved, and their service life can be extended.
