Fujian Mobile Toilet Type Classification

Admin October 09, 2026

Mobile toilets in Fujian can be mainly classified according to structural form, mobility method, functional configuration, and applicable scenarios, as detailed below:

Classification by Structural Form

  • Single-unit Structural Mobile Toilets: These are independent, single-unit structures with only one squat toilet inside. They are made from a variety of materials, including fiberglass, polyethylene, concrete panel assemblies, or steel frames covered with lightweight panels. Their lightweight structure makes them easy to transport or hoist, occupying a small area and allowing for flexible arrangement. Multiple units can be assembled into arrays, suitable for scenarios with limited space and high flexibility requirements.
  • Composite Structural Mobile Toilets: These typically have more than two toilet stalls inside a single unit, with some having up to ten or more. They are generally made from steel frames covered with lightweight panels, or are repurposed from shipping containers or bus bodies. Their characteristic is having multiple toilet stalls in a single unit, allowing for simultaneous use by many people, making them highly efficient and suitable for places with high foot traffic.

Classification by Mobility Method

  • Hoisting and Handling Mobile Toilets: These generally do not have moving devices and rely on hoisting equipment for lifting or manual handling, or the components are transported to the site for assembly. Handling types are mostly made from lightweight materials and are mostly single-unit structural products that can be assembled. Hoisting types are generally made from steel structures covered with lightweight panels or are repurposed from shipping containers, mostly having multiple toilet stalls and being heavy, requiring hoisting equipment for handling. Some newer models are loaded using hook-lift trucks, offering greater mobility and flexibility.
  • Powered and Trailer-mounted Mobile Toilets: These are equipped with moving devices, allowing for easy movement and transportation, suitable for scenarios requiring frequent relocation, such as large outdoor events or construction site relocations. They can be quickly deployed, saving installation time.

Classification by Functional Configuration and Applicable Scenarios

  • Construction Site Mobile Toilets: Commonly used on construction sites, these are mostly simple in design, with a sturdy and waterproof structure and simple internal facilities.
  • Eco-friendly Mobile Toilets for Scenic Spots: These have an aesthetically pleasing exterior design, with some high-end scenic spots equipped with barrier-free facilities and baby care rooms. They use water-saving flushing systems internally and may also be equipped with deodorization devices.
  • Temporary Mobile Toilets for Events: These are usually designed to be portable, allowing for quick assembly and disassembly. Some high-end events use luxurious models with air conditioning.
  • Mobile Toilets for Outdoor Exhibitions: These are small in size, easy to transport and place, with some models having wheels for mobility and some using solar power.
  • Municipal Emergency Mobile Toilets: Used in emergency situations such as urban road construction or flood control and disaster relief, these typically have wind and water resistance features, with some equipped with emergency lighting and ventilation systems.
