Foshan Container House Transportation

Admin September 17, 2026

There are four main transportation methods for container houses in Foshan: bulk packing, individual packing into containers, finished product transportation in whole containers, and overall packing transportation.

Bulk packing: In this method, identical components of all container houses (taking 20' as an example) in a customer's order are packed separately and then loaded loosely into a maritime shipping container. Usually, the upper and lower bases of the container houses are already made. Customers only need to find the corresponding components for assembly during installation. The dimensions of the upper and lower bases are (WL) 2.4386.06m, and a 40'HQ is required for shipping. Its advantage lies in the large number of container sets that can be shipped. Without special configurations, it can approximately ship 10 sets of 20' container houses. For customers with an order quantity of less than 8 sets and a need for container sharing, this method is recommended.

Individual packing into containers: All the materials required for each individual container house (taking 20' as an example) are packed into a single, independent package. This independent package can be placed sideways into a 40'HQ maritime shipping container. During installation, customers only need to search for the required materials within the independent package. The advantage of this method is fast loading and unloading, simplicity, and convenience, and it is less likely to confuse materials from other houses during installation. However, compared to bulk packing, it can ship fewer quantities, and without special assembly, it can ship 6 - 8 sets.

Finished product transportation in whole containers: Each individual container house is prefabricated and assembled in the factory, then transported from the factory to the dock, and finally hoisted onto a large ship at the dock. The biggest advantage of this method is that customers can use it directly upon receipt without further installation. However, its transportation cost is relatively high.

Overall packing transportation: Four individually packed container houses are repacked into the size of a standard 20' maritime shipping container. Instead of using maritime shipping containers for transportation, a bulk carrier is chartered. The container houses are transported directly from the factory to the dock and then hoisted onto a large ship at the dock. The advantage of this method is fast loading and unloading, simplicity, and convenience, and it is less likely to confuse materials from other houses during installation. However, compared to individual packing into containers, its transportation cost is slightly higher.

Ultimately, customers can communicate with the company's sales staff to determine the best transportation solution based on the specific situation.
