Mobile Toilets for Foreigners
Mobile toilets for foreigners exhibit diverse characteristics across different regions and scenarios.

In Shanghai, the 'unknown' mobile toilets encountered by foreigners have brought them great surprise. These mobile toilets are extremely clean, with a tidy and hygienic interior environment, providing users with a pleasant toilet experience. Additionally, they feature a music-playing function that stops when the toilet is unlocked. This unique design not only adds an element of fun but also alleviates users' embarrassment to some extent. Such high-quality mobile toilets have made foreigners feel China's dedication and progress in public facility construction, leading them to exclaim, 'I love China!'
In contrast, mobile toilets in early Europe were vastly different from those in Shanghai, being extremely rudimentary in form. They consisted of a wooden cart with a box and a piece of cloth hanging from it, pushed by individuals dressed like medieval craftsmen. The box, with a tattered burlap curtain hanging outside, served as a facility for people to relieve themselves during fairs. These mobile toilets offered very poor privacy, as the burlap was thin, allowing outsiders to clearly hear any sounds from inside amidst the passing crowd. Moreover, due to the lack of effective ventilation and deodorization measures, they emitted a foul odor, and the burlap curtain could not block the smell at all. Nowadays, such rudimentary mobile toilets have become a form of folk performance, allowing people to understand past lifestyles.
In Kilimanjaro, Tanzania, private mobile toilets are available for paid use. These mobile toilets have relatively complete internal facilities, including toilet paper and water in the mobile toilet bowls. When using them, after opening the toilet bowl and finishing urination or defecation, due to the small water flow, one needs to roll the toilet paper into a ball, throw it into the small hole, and press repeatedly to flush away the waste with water. Although this design differs from traditional flush toilets, it meets people's basic toilet needs in the local environment.
