Foreign Mobile Toilet Fecal Treatment

Admin October 12, 2026

There are various methods for treating feces in mobile toilets abroad, mainly including the following types:

I. Physical Treatment Technologies

  1. Water-flush and Waterless Suction Types: Collect excreta through a top water tank (water-flush type) or a bottom sewage tank (waterless type), and regularly suction it to treatment facilities using a vacuum pump.
  2. Dry Packaging Type: Use biodegradable plastic bags to receive excreta, automatically replace with a new bag after each use, and transport the collected bags to a treatment plant.
  3. Compression and Storage: Reduce the volume of excreta through mechanical compression to delay treatment needs, suitable for scenarios such as construction sites in the wild or camping.
  4. Multi-functional Sewage Outlets: Equipped with fecal storage tanks or pre-buried septic tanks, requiring manual cleaning and centralized treatment of feces.

II. Biological Treatment Technologies

  1. Recirculating Water-flush Type: Utilize intermittent aerobic/anaerobic devices and biological strains to accelerate fermentation and decomposition through biofilm technology, and filter the treated water for recirculation in toilet flushing.
  2. Microbial Type: Separate urine and feces using a solid-liquid separation device, mix feces with wood chips and biological strains for fermentation and decomposition into CO₂ and H₂O, and treat urine for recirculation in urinals.
  3. Anaerobic Digestion: Microorganisms decompose excreta to produce biogas (energy) and fertilizer (for agricultural/horticultural use).
  4. Self-purification Mode in Wild Degradation Pits: Dig soil pits in sandy areas, add organic filling layers and wood chip activated carbon mixtures to promote decomposition, and test fertility for reuse after six months.

III. Chemical Treatment Technologies

  1. Chemical Treatment: Add chemical agents to control odors and promote decomposition, and further treat the processed excreta through equipment or sewage systems.
  2. Disinfection and Solidification Treatment Technology: Throw high-solidification formula reagents to turn excreta into hard blocks, pack them into puncture-resistant paper tubes, and dispose of them as household waste.

IV. Treatment Technologies for Special Scenarios

  1. Direct Treatment with Disposable Biodegradable Bags: Medical-grade mobile toilets use sterile sealed bags, which are sealed after use and thrown into decaying material recycling bins.
  2. Scientific Pumping of Three-compartment Fecal Storage Tanks: Split toilets store excreta in a three-chamber system, requiring contact with service providers for harmless treatment and transporting the waste to organic fertilizer conversion plants.
  3. Dedicated Unloading Channels for Vehicle-mounted Mobile Systems: Gray water tank dumping devices are set up at highway service areas or RV campsites, requiring pH testing before discharge.
