Foreign Mobile Public Toilets
Foreign mobile public toilets come in a variety of types with distinct characteristics, but they also have some issues.

Types and Brands: There are numerous types of foreign mobile public toilets, and some products can be customized according to needs. There are many brands, such as Baitai, Youxuan, Jinghang, etc. These brands offer mobile public toilets of different specifications and functions to meet usage requirements in various scenarios.
Materials and Uses: They are made of a wide range of materials, including steel structures, stainless steel, and fiberglass-reinforced plastic. Steel structures are sturdy and durable, capable of withstanding significant external impacts. Stainless steel has good corrosion resistance, making it suitable for use in harsh and humid environments. Fiberglass-reinforced plastic is lightweight yet strong. These materials make mobile public toilets versatile, covering outdoor restrooms, temporary toilets, etc., and can be used in places like parks, squares, construction sites, and large event venues.
Advantages of Modular Design: Taking New York City as an example, to alleviate the shortage of public toilets, a one-year public toilet pilot program was launched, installing 17 modular toilets provided by Throne Labs across the city's five boroughs. These toilets adopt a modular design and do not require direct connection to the city's water supply, drainage, or power systems, reducing the infrastructure costs associated with traditional public toilet construction. The total cost of the 17 toilets is $4 million, roughly equivalent to the cost of building one traditional public toilet in New York City in the past, demonstrating their cost-effectiveness. At the same time, the modular design facilitates easy installation, disassembly, and relocation, allowing for flexible adjustment of the toilet locations and quantities according to actual needs.
Usage and Management Features: These modular toilets in New York City are free to use, with a time limit of 10 minutes per use. When the time is approaching, the lights will flash and a voice reminder will be given. If the time is exceeded, the door will open automatically to prevent long-term occupation, ensuring the toilet's usage efficiency so that more people can use it in a timely manner.
Existing Problems: Foreign mobile public toilets also have some shortcomings. For example, there have been cases where a foreign mobile toilet was blown into the air by strong winds, and the waste inside fell on the surrounding people. This reflects potential defects in the stability of mobile public toilets against wind and other factors, requiring further improvement in design and installation methods to ensure safety during use.
