Foam Sandwich Outdoor Portable Toilet

Admin October 05, 2026

There are outdoor portable toilets made of foam sandwich materials, but not all foam-sealed portable toilets use this material. Here is a detailed introduction:

The application of foam sandwich materials in the field of portable toilets is mainly reflected in products with foam sandwich color-steel as the structural main body. For example, the large-sized foam sandwich color-steel portable toilet launched by the YIBOGrill brand has a length and width of 1.28 meters each. It adopts a modular design and supports direct shipping after overall assembly. This material forms a composite panel with both structural strength and thermal insulation performance by sandwiching thermal insulation materials such as polyurethane foam between two layers of color-steel plates. It can not only meet the lightweight requirements of outdoor portable toilets but also effectively cope with temperature changes and extend the service life of the equipment.

It should be noted that there is an essential difference between the commonly seen foam-sealed portable toilets on the market and foam sandwich materials. The foam-sealing technology mainly generates a large amount of fine foam through a foaming device to cover the surface of the toilet bowl, using the lubricity and sealing properties of the foam to reduce odor diffusion and lower the flushing volume, which falls within the scope of water-saving and environmentally friendly technologies. For example, the 5,900-yuan environmentally friendly portable public toilet provided by Beijing Jindongfang Environmental Landscape Engineering Co., Ltd., and the 1,199-yuan assembled foam-sealed toilet from Lanzhou Jintongchuang Environmental Protection Technology Co., Ltd., both use this technology to achieve water-saving functions, but their product descriptions do not explicitly mention the use of foam sandwich materials as the structural main body. The structural materials of such toilets may be ordinary color-steel plates, stainless steel, or engineering plastics, and their core advantage lies in water-saving and environmental protection rather than thermal insulation performance.

From a technical perspective, foam sandwich materials focus on improving physical properties through composite structures, while foam-sealing technology focuses on functional optimization through chemical foaming. The two can be applied independently or in combination. Consumers need to clarify their needs when choosing: if they need to cope with low-temperature environments or pursue long-term durability, they can give priority to products clearly labeled as using foam sandwich color-steel materials; if they mainly focus on water-saving, environmental protection, and cost control, then foam-sealed portable toilets are more cost-effective.
