Foam Mobile Toilet Design

Admin October 09, 2026

The design of foam mobile toilets mainly revolves around foam technology. Through specific devices, a foam mixture is generated to achieve functions such as water conservation, odor removal, and environmental protection. The design covers aspects such as principles, structure, functional features, and material selection.

Design Principles

The core principle of foam mobile toilets is to use a foaming device to mix a foaming agent with water in a certain proportion and then blow the mixture into a large amount of fine foam using high-pressure air. These foams cover the inner walls of the toilet and the surface of the excrement, forming a sealed layer. On one hand, the foam effectively prevents the emission of odors, providing good odor removal. On the other hand, the lubricity of the foam reduces the friction between the excrement and the toilet, allowing the excrement to slide down smoothly. And only a small amount of water is needed to flush the foam and excrement into the collection device, significantly saving water. Compared with traditional water-flush toilets, it can save 80% - 90% of water.

Structural Design

It is usually composed of parts such as a toilet, a foaming device, a control system, and a waste collection device. The toilet is designed in accordance with ergonomics for easy use. The foaming device includes a foaming agent storage tank, a water pump, an air compressor, and a foamer, which are responsible for generating and delivering the foam. The control system can automatically control parameters such as the amount of foaming agent added, foaming time, and foam thickness to ensure stable foaming effects. The waste collection device generally adopts a sealed design to prevent waste leakage and odor emission. Once full, it can be easily transported and treated.

Functional Features

It has significant water-saving advantages and is suitable for use in areas with scarce water resources. Its powerful odor removal function can improve the usage environment. It is highly mobile and can be flexibly placed according to needs, making it suitable for temporary events, construction sites, tourist attractions, and other places. Some foam mobile toilets also have the function of harmless treatment of feces. By adding biological agents, etc., feces can be converted into organic fertilizers, achieving resource recycling.

Material Selection

The toilet is mostly made of stainless steel or engineering plastics. Stainless steel is sturdy, durable, and easy to clean, while engineering plastics have the advantages of being lightweight and low-cost. The outer shell is generally made of fiberglass-reinforced plastic or metal sheets. Fiberglass-reinforced plastic is corrosion-resistant and has high strength, while metal sheets can provide better protective performance. Components such as the foaming device and pipes are made of corrosion-resistant and high-pressure-resistant materials to ensure the long-term stable operation of the equipment.
