Foam in Mobile Toilets

Admin October 09, 2026

The foam in mobile toilets is generated through special technology in foam-sealed toilets, serving functions such as isolating waste, suppressing odors, and conserving water. Here are the details:

Principle of Foam Generation
The core technology of foam-sealed toilets lies in their foam generation device. When a user enters the toilet, the system automatically activates, mixing a special foam agent with a small amount of water. This mixture is then uniformly sprayed onto the inner walls of the toilet bowl through compressed air or mechanical agitation. This process forms a fine, stable layer of foam that covers the entire excretion area. The foam agent typically contains surfactants, stabilizers, and fragrances, ensuring the foam is long-lasting and resistant to breaking.

Main Functions of Foam

  1. Isolating Waste: The foam layer effectively wraps around excreta, preventing direct contact with the toilet bowl's inner walls, reducing residue buildup and cleaning difficulty. Additionally, the lubricating effect of the foam reduces friction between excreta and the toilet, preventing blockages.
  2. Suppressing Odors: Surfactants in the foam seal the tiny pores on the surface of excreta, preventing odor molecules from volatilizing into the air. Furthermore, the fragrances added to the foam agent further mask unpleasant odors, keeping the toilet air fresh.
  3. Significant Water Conservation: Compared to traditional flush toilets, foam-sealed toilets do not require large amounts of water for flushing. Each flush only requires a small amount of water (about one-tenth or even less than that of traditional toilets) to replenish the foam or clean residue, significantly reducing water consumption.

Advantages of Foam-Sealed Toilets
Due to their water-saving, environmentally friendly, and efficient characteristics, foam-sealed toilets are widely used in temporary events, tourist attractions, construction sites, and other scenarios. Their foam technology not only reduces sewage discharge but also lowers sewage treatment costs, aligning with sustainable development principles. Additionally, the softness and sealing properties of the foam enhance user comfort, making them particularly suitable for water-scarce or cold regions.
