Floor Mobile Toilet Materials

Admin September 21, 2026

The selection of materials for floor mobile toilets should take into account durability, corrosion resistance, portability, and environmental friendliness. Common materials include metal materials, plastic/composite materials, and other functional materials, as detailed below:

1. Metal Materials

  • Aluminum Alloy: As a mainstream material for skeletons and frames, its density is only one-third that of steel, featuring lightweight and strong corrosion resistance. Its surface can be enhanced with oxidation treatment or fluorocarbon spraying for better protection, making it suitable for frequent movement or humid environments (such as outdoors and coastal areas).
  • Stainless Steel: Primarily used for internal hardware (such as water tanks and pipes), door hinges, and exterior finishes. It has extremely strong corrosion resistance but comes at a higher cost (about 1.5-2 times that of aluminum alloy), making it suitable for high-humidity or salt-spray environments (such as seaside and chemical areas).
  • Galvanized Steel Sheet: Its rust resistance is improved through a galvanized layer, making it suitable for box structures in humid areas (such as seaside), but long-term use requires attention to maintenance after the coating wears off.

2. Plastic/Composite Materials

  • PVC Board: Used for internal partitions, wall panels, and ceiling panels, it is waterproof, moisture-proof, and easy to clean, with a relatively low cost (about 50-150 yuan per square meter). However, it is important to choose products that meet environmental standards to avoid the release of harmful substances.
  • Fiberglass Reinforced Plastic (FRP): Composed of resin and glass fibers, it has a strength close to that of steel but weighs only one-fourth to one-third as much. It is corrosion-resistant and aging-resistant, suitable for overall structures (such as the main frame of the toilet), but its surface is prone to scratches and has a high repair cost.
  • Antibacterial Composite Material: By adding antibacterial agents or using special processes, it reduces bacterial growth on internal panels and minimizes odor retention, making it suitable for scenarios with high hygiene requirements (such as hospitals and schools).

3. Other Materials

  • Rock Wool Sandwich Panel: Used for ceiling panels or partition walls, its internal rock wool filling provides effective sound insulation and heat insulation, with a fire rating of Class A, making it suitable for crowded areas (such as shopping malls and stations) to enhance safety and comfort.
  • High-Density Polyethylene (HDPE) Board: With high strength, impact resistance, and UV resistance, it is commonly used for bottom and exterior decorations, priced at about 200-500 yuan per square meter, suitable for long-term outdoor use.

Application Scenario Recommendations:

  • Frequent Handling or Humid Environments: Prioritize the combination of an aluminum alloy frame and PVC board interior decoration for a balance of portability and cost.
  • Coastal or High-Humidity Areas: Choose galvanized steel sheet boxes or stainless steel hardware to enhance rust resistance.
  • Crowded Areas: Use rock wool sandwich panels to improve sound and heat insulation while meeting fire safety requirements.
