Fengze District Mobile Toilets

Admin September 20, 2026

Fengze District has mainly carried out two initiatives in the area of mobile toilets: rental services and the construction of a 'shared public toilet' network.

Mobile Toilet Rental Services: Fengze District offers a diverse range of mobile toilet rental options, including mobile restrooms, mobile washrooms, and mobile public toilets, which can be flexibly adapted to various scenarios such as marathons, concerts, music festivals, and construction sites. For construction site scenarios, the temporary mobile toilet rental service boasts three core advantages: Firstly, rent-on-demand, allowing flexible adjustment of the rental period according to the construction progress of the site to meet phased needs; Secondly, hygienic and convenient, utilizing eco-friendly sewage treatment technology that complies with green construction standards, while being equipped with an independent ventilation system to ensure a pleasant user experience; Thirdly, cost-controllable, reducing transportation and maintenance costs through modular design, effectively alleviating project financial pressure. This service has established a standardized process, enabling rapid response from demand assessment, equipment transportation to installation and commissioning, ensuring that construction site operations are not affected.

Construction of the '15-Minute Convenient Toilet Access Circle': Fengze District has innovatively introduced a 'shared public toilet' model, expanding the coverage of public toilets by integrating social resources. Currently, over 300 merchants have participated, opening their internal toilets for public use, with a focus on high-traffic areas such as scenic spots, business districts, and night markets. To standardize management, the community uniformly produces orange signboards for participating merchants, marked with the words 'Shared Restroom' and a disclaimer to clarify the rights and responsibilities of both parties. Meanwhile, through regular inspections and merchant training, daily cleaning standards are reinforced, requiring the provision of basic supplies such as disinfectant and tissues to ensure a clean environment. This network has initially formed a coverage area reachable within a 15-minute walk, effectively alleviating the issue of uneven distribution of traditional public toilets.

These two initiatives complement each other: the rental service focuses on emergency support for temporary, high-mobility scenarios, while the 'shared public toilets' achieve常态化 (normalized) coverage through social participation. By combining policy guidance with market-oriented operations, Fengze District has not only improved public health service levels but also optimized urban resource utilization efficiency, providing replicable practical experience for other regions.
