Fengyang Cement Prefabricated House

Admin September 18, 2026

Fengyang cement prefabricated houses can be understood as houses built using cement prefabricated components, namely prefabricated reinforced concrete houses. They have advantages such as advanced technology, low cost, and environmental protection, but also have drawbacks like limited space layout and poor sound insulation and heat preservation.

Technical Principle: The full name of cement prefabricated houses is "prefabricated reinforced concrete full-frame shear wall structure houses". The core process is factory prefabrication + on-site assembly. At specialized production bases, core components such as walls, floors, and beams and columns are cast in one piece using high-precision molds. Each module integrates multiple structures including steel reinforcement skeletons, insulation layers, waterproof layers, and pre-embedded pipelines.

Advantages:

  • High Efficiency: It takes only 7 days to prefabricate a single 30㎡ module in the factory. After being transported to the site, with the cooperation of 3 workers and a crane, a single module can be installed in 4 hours, and the overall construction of a 100㎡ house takes only 2 days.
  • Low Cost: Taking a 120㎡ self-built rural house as an example, the cost of a traditional brick-and-mortar structure is about 180,000 - 220,000 yuan (including labor), while the cost of the main modules of a cement house is only 120,000 - 150,000 yuan. With interior and exterior decoration, the total cost can be controlled within 200,000 yuan, reducing the overall cost by 30%.
  • Green and Environmentally Friendly: Factory production is fully controllable throughout the process, with a scrap recovery rate of 95%. There is no dust or sewage discharge at the construction site, and the construction waste is only 10% of that of traditional house construction. Environmentally friendly concrete and water-based paints are used as materials, with a formaldehyde emission of ≤0.05mg/m³, far below the national standard (0.1mg/m³).
  • Good Performance: C30 - C40 grade concrete is used, with built-in Φ8 - Φ12 steel reinforcement meshes, achieving a compressive strength of 25 - 30MPa, which is 1.5 times that of traditional brick-and-mortar structures. The walls have reserved slots for EPS insulation layers, and after on-site insertion, the heat insulation performance can be improved by 40%, providing significant warmth in winter and coolness in summer. The modules are connected through prestressed bolts + welded steel plates to form an overall frame, with a wind resistance rating of Level 10 and a seismic fortification intensity of 7 degrees. Some manufacturers claim that the cement "prefabricated houses" they build with an area of about 200 square meters have a warranty of about 70 years.

Disadvantages:

  • Limited Personalization in Space Layout: The high degree of modularization makes it difficult to achieve detailed layout of regional functional dimensions.
  • Poor Sound Insulation and Heat Preservation of Walls: The walls are thin, and in extremely cold regions, separate heat insulation measures are required.
  • Potential Risks in Connection and Fixation: The grouting material joints used for connection have high requirements for the construction team, and small rural construction teams may have difficulty in handling them. Compared with cast-in-place houses, their seismic performance is slightly inferior. They can meet the requirements in non-seismic zones, but the number of floors cannot be too high; otherwise, it will be difficult to meet the seismic design requirements of building structures.
