Fengxian School Mobile Toilet

Admin September 21, 2026

For mobile toilets in Fengxian schools, reference can be made to the case of the 'Jiaohui Toilet' at the Affiliated High School of Shanghai Fengxian Open University, which showcases the upgrading of school hardware facilities and toilet renovation achievements, with relatively comprehensive measures in terms of facility provision and sanitation management.

Facility Provision

  • Infrastructure Upgrades: Traditional urinal troughs have been replaced with urinals, and additional toilet stalls have been added, effectively alleviating the queuing pressure during peak usage times by students. Additionally, high and low washbasins have been installed, fully considering the usage needs of students of different heights and facilitating handwashing for lower-grade students, reflecting a human-centered design concept.
  • Improvement of Barrier-Free Facilities: Barrier-free toilets may be added, equipped with convenience facilities such as emergency alarm buttons and multifunctional tables within the barrier-free stalls. The emergency alarm buttons facilitate timely assistance for disabled students in case of emergencies, while the multifunctional tables can be used to place items, providing greater convenience and ensuring the safety and usability for disabled students.
  • Application of Intelligent Equipment: Sensor faucets and automatic flushing devices have been installed, reducing direct contact between students and the equipment, lowering the risk of bacterial transmission, and also being more energy-efficient and environmentally friendly. Well-performing exhaust fans ensure good ventilation in the toilets, promptly removing odors and creating a comfortable restroom environment for students.

Sanitation Management

  • Daily Cleaning System: The school has established a daily cleaning responsibility system, with regular cleaning conducted at least three times a day to ensure basic cleanliness in the toilets. After peak usage times such as class breaks and lunch breaks, inspection and temporary cleaning frequencies are increased to promptly clean up ground stains, garbage, etc., maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of the toilets.
  • Facility and Equipment Maintenance: A combination of proactive maintenance and daily repair reporting is adhered to. Upon discovering a fault, users or management responsible persons can promptly report it for repair by filling out a 'Repair Request Form' or through other means. This maintenance approach enables the timely identification and resolution of facility and equipment issues, ensuring the normal use of the toilets and extending the service life of the facilities and equipment.
